Hi
I posted all the info on the mortgage forum yesterday though without APR - did it on my phone so couldn't format prop but all the info is there hopefully.
Managed to cut sky & 2 mobiles out today, reduce last one down so Internet etc still to do as well as reduce groceries further !
So it's looking a little healthier already
Thanks

PS Masonn ..... Do you fancy being my "life coach" ......?
I've been out all day and you've been very busy. :T
I'm flattered you think I could do the job and for what it's worth I'm happy to help if I can. If you need to talk to someone who isn't going to be judgmental then I'm more than happy to listen.
I love flapjack.
The fact that you have managed to keep your sense of humour after what must have been a hell of a day involving a lot of soul searching speaks volumes.
Well done, we're all proud of you.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Thanks Masonn , means a lot.
Done quite well today - still need to trim a bit more to stay afloat though ! Then keep it trimmed so I can , hopefully looked at unsecured. The quicker I get rid of this place the better.
Am happy to live a frugal life for my kids & clearing debts - but stuffed if I will do it for someone else who , is frankly , taking the p*** !
Please don't let it be peeing down tomorrow .... And please don't let those kids eat all the flap jack .... I need some for my new life coach :rotfl:
I need to go to bed but my brain is going @ 100 miles an hour ....

Oh dear god, it is chucking it down here! You just wouldn't believe how wet I just got taking the dog to the park.
We've prob all covered it before but have you kept a spending diary? Also, elsiepac runs a weekly spend challenge on the debt free board, I found this really useful when I started off, set my limit, anything I didn't spend got hidden away for next time we needed a treat. After doing it for a month I cut my cash spending to almost nothing, I refuse to even pay for parking anymore!!
Hope you're not too knackered after work, your journey without the car sounds like a nightmare. Is there a car share scheme near you? Might be full of gorgeous single men! Or knowing your luck, pantsman!!
Have a good one coco.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Hi B
Yes I do keep a spending diary - I think I have kind of got the daily spends under control as best I can. Its more managing to cover the things I cant afford to budget for if that makes sense ?!
Anything out of the normal & its screws me up completely - such as the Car !
Will definately have a look at the Weekly Spend Challenge though
My trip to work was actually not too bad - managed to catch up on a couple of texts/calls and even read a little bit of my book !
Total time from leaving home to getting here was was an hour and 20 mins ......... Not looking foward to the journey home though !
Also, very expensive. apparently you cant get a return ticket before 9.00 am ??!! (though that doesnt seem right to me !) So, first bus £3.60 and second one £1.68 - so by the time I get back tonight that will be over £10 !!. Its only a couple of weeks so not the end of the world but, when you consider, my monthly petrol bill is £150 including running kids around - the quicker I sort the car the better !
No sign of pants manThank god....... but I did pass someone interesting ... I have seen him around before and we always seem to end up chatting on the rare ocassions I go out ...........so, watch this space
Have been looking at local estate agents sites and - on the face of it - prices are not quite as low as I thought so we will see what happens...
Right need to quickly do surveys and check banking - then back to it.
I need to be more organised tomorrow though - I left my lunch at home and my paperwork for stuff I wanted to do at lunchtime which is rrreeeeeeeaaalllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyy annoying !
I feel another To Do list coming on !
Have a good afternoon.

wow Coco - have just finished reading this thread and want to say you are inspirational and seem like a really lovely person (and yes I have read the ex posts :rotfl::rotfl:)0
-
That's very nice of you to say so - thanks
not sure about the nice bit though :rotfl:
Oh my it's soooooo cold tonight I have put a jumper & fluffy slippers on !!! Not happy that I have to walk to supermarket later - no cat food or tea bags ...... Its a potential disaster
Particularly the tea bit
Managed to grab a lift today so that saved me a bit of ££ but bus tomorrow ... Hopefully may have Ex car on Sunday - nice man that he is :rotfl::rotfl:
Right off to the shop for tea bags !

Well that's not too bad , got blown up the road to the shop so it didn't take me long at all
Why is it my Kids wait till it's blowing a Gale and peeing with rain, nearly dark & then decide they are going over to play tennis ??!
We are a bit naughty because they nearly always forget to lock the courts so they wait till everyone's finished then play for free
Jobs for this weekend - start the cleaning/sorting - I def need a list. Also need to look at grocery challenge. I actually think I could cut it quite a bit (especially if I make lots of flap jacks & muffins
Youngest has agreed to take packed lunch 4 days & eldest finished now so that will save a bit .....
Lots to do
Friday tomorrow :T

Ho Coco,
i've been away camping-seemed to have missed loads going on in your world!
sorry to hear you hit a low, sounds like you're back on the up now though?
haven't read your mortgage board post but read on here about you selling up.....you said your estate agent friend said yours is a very popular street-when we split,we also lived in a desirable area (those were the days!!) and i wanted every penny i could get my hands on to set up afresh with the boy.EA fees would have cost me £3500.just for the hell of it i bought a piece of bright coloured card and made my own" for sale" sign with my mobile phone number on it.got a couple ring the very next day!once you accept their offer you just put it into the hands of a solicitor. actually,i think you can do most of the legal bit yourself too,but i wasn't brave enough.
please keep your chin up.look at all the lovely people on here who have come to care about you!
have a fab weekend.LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0
