Hi Coco
Just spend my morning reading various diaries on here and felt I had to comment on yours.
I'm a newbie too and always after money saving advice, I was in a position similar to yours a few years ago and after a few years have finally gotten back on track (apart from the loan which will take another 3)...... my point being there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you seem to be on track.
I wish you all the best xLoan Free May 2015 - working on Dec 2012

Thanks for the lovely post LMB
& it's always good to know someone has come through it , a heartfelt thanks.
HL & B I feel ashamed that I have made you pull faces about someone you don't even know ....... Less harbouring !!!!!y thoughts & more money planning for me !
Finally plucked up courage to check bank - it's not great but not as bad as it could have been but , have totally taking my eye off the ball over the last week so need to get back on track !
Have about £200 left to last 2 weeks so should just about do it (especially if kids stay with dad this weekend as planned , will save me wknd food so fingers crossed !) reeeeaaaalllllyyyyyy need to get on with this eBay stuff ! In fact "drum roll please" that is going to be my weekend mission if I have no kids ( I wrote it so now I have to do it)
Right make some food & do some jobs.

If your ex changes then I'm quite happy to do less of this
and more of this :grouphug:
Well, maybe :rotfl:
Made a note of your weekend mission so will be [STRIKE]checking up on you [/STRIKE] asking how it goes0 -
Hello,
I just read your thread, and I just wanted to say I think you've come really far and you're doing fantastically, sounds like you are quite hard on yourself at times, but you are coping very well with your ex, very mature (not sure I could be so calm with someone behaving in that way!), and your hard work will pay off eventually and you WILL get there if you keep up this focus, even if it only feels like small steps at the moment...small steps in the right direction. well done and keep up the good work.0 -
Small Tesco shop £38.09 didn't get nail varnish - bought kids a football instead
so I will treat myself next week.
If they do stay at Dads this wknd , should only need to get milk , & sausages & bacon for after football rolls so I may just be able to do my drink out on Friday night!
I have decided I no longer acknowledge pay day once a month .... There is the day all my bills come out - and a weekly allowance of x amount for groceries & spends. Much more manageable for me !
Also missing my main treats - new handbags every couple of months. So , I turned them all out (some I forgot how nice they were) and transferred all my bits to the prettiest one : fixed my craving !
Right , back to housework

Hi Coco, I am a newbie (have been lurking on and off for the past year) and just wanted to say that your thread has inspired me no end....can't help but to check in everyday. Keep up with the good work and I look forward to picking up any tips along the way.0

Welcome Mrs P
Not sure it makes very interesting or helpful reading but you are welcome to drop in any time
Dreading tomorrow ... Dont want to go back to work & phone calls & letters start again. But am determined I have to face this now so let's see what happens!
Worst part is , spent the last week keeping in top of everything - one day left unattended and my house will look like a tornedo has hit .... Hey ho !
Have a good evening.
