I have just realised why I love Bank Holidays & Sundays so much - no phone calls & no post :):)
3 cups of tea later , I really must get on & stop reading diaries on here !!
    Got plenty to do :
    Hoover through
    Washing (2 loads)
Change beds ( always easier when kids aren't still in them :) )
CLEAN KITCHEN CUPBOARDS !!!! *been saying this for about 5 wks*
    sort clean washing pile
Watch recorded crime drama (well a girl needs a little treat !)
Whizz around bathroom before it gets grubby again ... Boys !!
Start using spend tracking phone app instead of looking at it ... (tho plan on a NSD today so shouldn't need it)
Clear out Ex wardrobe so youngest can use it - bag stuff up for Ex take it or bin it pile
Go through inbox & do some surveys and complete paypal registration
Decide which expensive free upgrade phone I want & look at eBay to see what I can get for it towards next months sec loan pymt

    That's enough for now I reckon !!!

    Happy Easter All x

So bathroom whizz around done , chilli made for dinner in slow cooker , 2 loads washing done & on the line , 3rd in wm.
Whilst doing above have been thinking about the blasted sec loan again ...,. Yawn I know
    Payment will go back up by £330 a month ( :( ) so that's the extra I need ...
Have a loan with work @£120 a month , this would only be for another 8 months but I need the extra monthly now so going to ask if I can 1/2 payments for now so that's £60 leaving £270 to find.
If I can pay CT over 12 months , and generally cut down on bills a little that's another £50 so £220 to find.
I am sure the PPI was approx £100 a month (this has now finished I need to find that bloody piece of paper !) but say that's about right will leave me about £120 to find .... Getting there ...
Will be asking Ex tomorrow (not mentioning above savings , as far as he is concerned I need to find £300 a month ) so anything I get from him (not holding my breath) will come off the £120 making me almost there.

I know I still have unsecured debt to worry about but this sec loan has to come first for now - the rest will have to wait.
Feel a little more hopeful looking at the above :)
Right , back to housework Coco :)

    Hello Coco

I have just read your diary from the start..I followed Barbeduk over here as they (sorry Barbeduk, not sure if you're a girl or not! And may seem a crazy question but do you keep chooks??!) often post on the small things thread which I find very useful..it's the discipline of the thing I think...like a 'to do' list that you feel your friends know about so they are (nicely) hovering, looking over your shoulder so you try to stick to it!

I think you're doing amazingly well. Your OH sounds like a real twonk ( new word I learnt on this board!) and you and the DC are so much better off seeing him in small doses! I agree with your plan to keep the house if you possibly can..another change and stress would bring its own problems. But do see whether the helplines can do some more...maybe I read it wrong, but it felt like the National Debt Helpline only went so far..and there is actually more they can do to help.

Will subscribe and keep cheering you on!

    Bless you Brizzled ! Thanks.
Have looked at OSMS board today , cooked double & froze half & now sat with no lights on watching Tv , very MS.
Seriously though , you guys are an amazing bunch of people & so helpful :) it's an honour to know you all.
Will do my best to keep house - but , have tentatively mentioned to kids we may have to move at some point ..,, they didn't seem overly traumatised by the thought for now.
You never know , Ex may stump up 1/2 the £330 yet .... Lmfao !!!!
You are right about Debtline , she was lovely but it was very "goodbye & good luck" so may try someone else next week, anyone recommend ?
Visit afternoon tomorrow do have left upstairs jobs to do then :)
And still need to find the sec loan paperwork , must do this tomorrow !
Thanks again & happy easter :)
