Good news : when we took out the loan , we never asked for it & when we realised how much it added a month we said it was too much & were told we needed it. Also, when I found paperwork recently I only n

Just had to write & share ! Had two yuk calls to make this morning both to say I couldn't pay bills until Friday . One was sky tv , very abrupt , made me feel like a fool and then cut me off ! So, swallowing the tears (as try not to get upset any more , it's only mobey after all) I braced myself & rang O2 to do the same .... The woman I spoke to was soooo lovely & helpful :) was very kind , sympathetic and suspended the account without restriction until I get paid ! She was also chatty and very "hey we all go through bad patches " an absolute star !
Kicking myself for not taking her name as would like to email O2 & comment on their great customer service ... Well at least for me !
We are so quick to comment on poor service - just thought it right to comment on good service for once :):)
    Have a good day all.

PS - there was a dribble of wine left .... But I saved it to put in my chilli I am making later !!

You could still write the letter praising because the operator did an action on the account I am sure they could find who it was...

I did send a thank you :) like I said , people are quick to criticise not so quick to praise sadly.
Let's hope the thanks got passed on !

Ok having pondered on my last post for 10 mins now I feel bad :( maybe the lady @ sky was just having a bad day or something ?! I am sure that most people that work there are super lovely !!!
Will stop rambling now & go do something constructive now :)

You sound like such a good person and good will come to you. I would not have been so kind to the horrid Sky lady! It will eventually get sorted and you are definitely on the right road. You will find so this entire site invaluable ... I bless the day I 'stumbled' upon it. Sorry but I would never feed the ex on his visitation days. I presume you did enough of that. Rather feed the children (as you say) and go to a friend/have a walk or something leaving them all on their own. I think he has a dreadful cheek! I understand that you are trying to make things as amicable as possible but you have to look at the entire picture.
Good luck, you will be just fine. (wish I could send you a FULL glass of my wine ... the bottle was only 3.00 although it won't win any wine competitions)! Oh well!

Wow thanks - am not sure that I am doing very well tbh - all I want is what's best for my kids. I try to be amicable because I have never , ever agreed with shouting & mudslinging in front of them - it's not right & that's why I took so much c**p - it's manipulative to use children in my opinion.
But they are smart , switched on kids - I trust they know what's right :)
I must get back to my money making & less of the marriage guidance .... Sorry :)

    Hi Coco,
I have just finished reading your thread and I have nothing but admiration for you. You are holding down a job and bringing up some smart-thinking kids, sorting out your debts head on and maintaining dignity in the face of obvious stupidity. Well done you. What an inspiration to us all :)

Thanks so much , just wish I was able to cross out numbers as I pay off like you are tho :)
Was just sat here thinking that I have kind of given up on the house now - accepted that it will be repossessed then I kept thinking back to an early response to my SOA , i think it may have been Chev, who commented that my house is doable on my income .... Not easy but possible so maybe I shouldnt give up yet ?

So much to think about .... OMG just remembered that I haven't got any Easter eggs for boys yet !!!! Not that they eat them really , but I do ha ha :)
