What a week, 2 visits to A+E with DD, - ended up with damage to her toe, so she son crutches and a sandal boot... Not happy as it was an incident at school.

Ploding along slightly, picked up the knitting needled again, keep me out of trouble for a bit....

were a week into November - where has the time gone....

Quietish half term week, took DD to see a show in Birmingham, (tickets were bogof), had free parking, booked back in March so became cost effective.

Took DD to Blackpool for the weekend, to see illuminations, and see a show. (bogof) we had a quiet weekend there, had a treat last ngt went for an Indian.

Back to sorting money out, there 2 debts that are asking more than I have been paying so going to add them in with my dmp payment, (was paying them the same as other creditors) but they think there entitled to more

Long term unless I win the lottery or the csa actually get the arrears out of my ex, then reasonably my debts aren't going to get cleared in the next five years, Im not going to do anything till after January - want to get Xmas out of the way, in one way I feel awful thinking I may need to go down that route, but in reality a lot of that is charges, inflated interest..

I need to tackle Nov as I have still got to get winter clothes for DD, as always plod along and get somewhere xx

Had a family set back as dad has been admitted to hospital, he's got to have a blood tranfusion, they dont know if it is internal bleeding, blood clots, cancer returned... its all up in the air, at least this time he is in the local hospital.... so far today £5 in car parking.. x

its not the best of posts, unfortunatly we have had some bad news, its all up in the air as to how / where we go /

At my fathers one year ct scan, they discovered secondary cancer, due to its location its inoperable.... any care with pallative care.

It went so mad, as he looked tired / run down, had blood tests - his levels had gone so low - was internal bleeding.

He had emergency blood transfusions - during this hospital stay - further tests were done / ct scan results were chased - wham bamm this happens.

B4 Xmas - got biopsy / camera / more oncologists appointments
    After Xmas - Chemo

    ...
For reasons best known to him, he's decided at the moment he doesn't want my mum or my daughter to know - looks so well in himself - my mum couldn't cope last yr, I was the one who was trying to be strong, - when he was in for the blood transfusion, she really struggled - my DD treats him as dad ... there inseperable.

Apart from medical side, in real life, theres only 2 people who I have told,

    ........
Financially - I've taken a break from my dmp till Jan, - I'm thinking now of looking to see if I can apply for a DRO, I'm paying £50 per month off debts - rte going its 15yrs... credit rating is shot

Cross that bridge when I come to it x

    we've had a rollercoaster of a day...

had a call this morning, can we go to the oncologist 2 hrs later...

Arrived full of panic, it was a what if moment... the biospy results have come throu, the 2 samples they took from the front tumor, as appeared not to be cancer, whether that is the doc didn't go in far enough... or it is ok we don't know, there going to reschedule another biospy... although the cancer is present in the lung and bowel, but these are smaller and not troublesome at the mo,

He was due to start chemo in Jan, at the mo this ijs being postponed... He's having the camera on SAT, if that comes up clear - there look at 2nd camera on via the stoma..

I'm pleased, relieved, I just wish it isn't cancer there and that what he does have doesn't cause probs... (I have to dream on 2nd part).

Thou on the downside... DD and mum know about it, I say know, they've had the filtered down version, as to we dont know what it is, it could be cancer.... Theyve both taken it really badly, were having to take it as it comes.

All presents (bar DDs, mum and dads) are wrapped, 3 parcels to post 2mor and last few cards, so I can concentrate on DD, mum and dad.

We got through Xmas without any hassles, bar usual family strops, which is normal for our house, I started with cold / chest infection on boxing day, DD came down with it just before New Year.

I took DD away for New Year, we went to Lapland, it was amazing, gave us quality time together to talk, spend time having fun, and being there for each other.

I know that 2016 could be the year of major changes, some I can control, others out of my hand, but that doesn't mean I have to lie back and take it all, this girl has some fight.

    Gym
This may seem one of the most stupid ideas, but any little help with be a benefit to the health, I know my limitations, so you wont see me signing up for a marathon, but if it can streghten a muscle or 2 will help, and the best bit DD is going to the gym as well. Got a bargain membership.

    DD
All I can do is support her the best that I can

    Bday / Xmas Planning
That seems to be one of my strengths, so with a bit of help from the sales, and some super planning, I should be able to hit this running....

    Money
The bug bearer of it all, I have spent the last 12 months balancing / budgeting / peter to paul, as well as trying to have a life, I know that unless I win the lottery etc then this is one aspect that needs attention.

I think Jan will be the month that it does get sorted.

    My Sisters legacy
I'm up to no 7 of 50 acts of kindness etc in memory of my sister, getting there.
