I am going to tell you a nice true story so you stay hopeful
We got a kitten when I was 4
When she was a few months old she disappeared and Mum & Dad feared the worst, as all our calling for days did nothing
Coincidentally, Mum visited a neighbour three doors along whose little girl was very ill, and went up to the bedroom to see the sick child. On the end of the bed was our young cat. The mother said she had appeared when the little girl first fell ill and hadn’t left the bed. Mum left her there.
When the little girl recovered, our cat came home and stayed with us for the next 21 years (although Mum never allowed her upstairs or onto our beds even if we were ill). You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -

What a lovely story! Trying so hard to stay positive!
I have just come back from the street behind me and got chatting to the man who phoned me yesterday. I showed him the picture and he was positive he saw her yesterday and the day before! And another lady who was gardening thought she had seen her this morning in her garden.
I wonder if she had just decided to hang out at someone elses house! I have put a flyer through every door on the street in case someone is feeding her.
This is making me feel a bit more positive but if it is her, why isn't she comimg back???Just keep passing the open windows.0 -
That does sound positive cats do do strange things. When mine was missing everyone behind us knew who he was but had not seen him since the day he did not come home that's why we think he spent a whole 15 days in a garage and even though the door had been opened several times likes the cat he did not come out.

So sorry to hear that confused...Sounds like you are doing all the things I am. I feel so helpless really. I've just had another walk around and there is no sign...I must look like a complete loon calling noodles and shaking a biscuit box! I don't know what to do next except keep going out every few hours. Hope yours comes back soon too. Has you cat disappeared before?Just keep passing the open windows.0

Was there snow around when both your cats went missing? Snow rather obviously changes the look, feel and smell of everything so if it has now melted it may be that they have become disoriented.
I know you need to go round calling but dont forget to call most from your own garden otherwise she could be trying to follow a moving targetYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -

i keep going out and whistling...must look very strange
but it's worth it if they come back eh? no, she only normally goes out for an hour or so and comes back which is why we're so worried, it's out of character, what about noodles? :A
i'm just hoping she's somewhere cosy and she comes home soon x0 -
Do your other cats go out, when they do are they going to a particular place, I know this may sound silly but they may find her for you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
So sorry to hear that your cat is still missing but don't give up hope yet. This is what happened with 2 of my cats:
We had adopted 3 rescues from the Cats Protection League and a few days after they were allowed out, one got chased by 2 dogs and ran across a park to the next village. I only found out about the dogs from a neighbour once I started knocking on all doors. We were walking across the park, calling and whistling, when she came back totally exhausted and slept for 24 hours. A few years later, her son went missing for 4 days. I found him sitting on a very narrow branch of a 40ft high tree in the park; he was so terrified that he couldn't make a sound. I don't know what made me look up. We never knew what had happened but a local animal rescue managed to get him down.
Have you asked your neighbours to look in all garages and sheds even if they think your cat could not have got in? One of my friend's cats went missing recently after they had moved house. Somehow he had got into an unused garage through a very tiny window and got himself shut into an empty chest freezer. The freezer lid had been propped open and when he jumped through the window he somehow ended up in the freezer with the lid shut! He is now fine and totally recovered but it may be worthwhile to ask your neighbours to check cupboards etc in any garage or shed, even if it looks empty.
I do hope you find your cat, it is such a worry.0
