Hi, I've only lurked a bit recently on your thread and obviously don't 'know' you as well as others! But I'm glad the news about your wife and baby seem good. I have two little ones and it is such a worrying time. All good luck for the future, I hope things go swimmingly from here on in

And I somehow managed to find time to bottle 34 bottles of HB stout

This one tastes far more robust than my first attempt at HB, I reduced the liquid content by about 5l for a stronger brew and was fairly generous with the sugar when bottling.
This time round was much faster - used a secondary bucket to batch prime (i.e. siphon off everything bar the yeast, then add the sugar all at once). Much less faffy than bothering with individual teaspoons of sugar etc. :T
Got this beast to go next.
Feeling zonked. Will catch up on diaries tomorrow.0 -

Mrs E has been returned to me - currently sitting on the couch waiting for her (late) breakfast

I am finding her something suitably silly to watch on TV - now to do some work!0 -
