  • I have a baby!!!!

Just finished cleaning the fish tank and saw a tiny, but well defined bristlenose catfish hanging on to the glass at the front of the tank :T

    I'm overcome with paternal emotions!

Strangely I completely understand from when my stick insects hatched.... I was a grandma (technically belonged to dd3)

Must say I landed on Alchemillas last post and was initially very confused / intrigued..

Ed, you have 2 choices re the nipples. Plasters (sore to take off) or the better choice is vaseline. Hopefully it was just a one-off with cold, wind and rain but based on where we live you may want to consider the second choice.

Why are Ipsauce so bad for surveys? I have no idea how MSE claim they're the best for paid surveys, I have had *1* survey where I wasn't screened out :rotfl:

I do really well on the survey front, but do find that I get less surveys from Ipsos than the other survey sites. What you will find it that when you change your profile - once the baby comes along - you will be inundated with surveys about nappies, baby products, baby wipes etc :D. I have had so many packs of nappies and baby wipes sent to me to use and report on that it has saved quite a bit of money if you add it all up.

The baby has gone deep into hiding, I'll doubtless see him/her again in 6 months time when he/she is hungry. Fish go from babies to teenagers surprisingly fast :rotfl:

    Payday :j

Already feeling a bit skint, as spent £107 on Dr Martens and enough aquarium chemicals to hopefully last the rest of the year

Hehe - the DMs were only £57 of the total ;)

My baby count is now at 7 or more

Luckily they're perennial favourites and I should be able to move them on for small sums/store credit at my local fish shop.

£55.63 to Baby Pot, we've reduced our budget lines for groceries, car replacement and presents.

How much are you aiming for in the baby pot? Love the fact that you've got one going :)

Well, by the time the baby gets here I think £4k+

There are other savings that may be rolled in at some point in the future, it's all our money after all :)
