One day I'll photograph the bed linen mountain :o

We could start a "Housewives' Confessions " thread. Then there'd be the European towel mountain.... And then there's tablecloths... Oh, the shame!

Have a look in TK Maxx / Homesense - they always have lots of pillows and duvets of decent quality for reasonable prices - nearly bought some down ones in there myself today but was off to Primarni after and didn't want to carry them.

Sorry, been awol for the past few days so no chance of catching up with everything. Went to the big Xtra at Sl0ugh today..and saw the biggest rat scuttle across the car park in the middle of the afternoon :eek::eek::eek: then after starting to pick up all the cleaning stuff I went for, realised I'd left my coupons at home, so came out with two KK doughnuts...not very MSE :o

thanks will have a look at matalan...love the slo*gh store, we used to do our weekly shop there and sometimes found the store just tooooo big and overwhelming, so good for bargains tho! & dont worry, I find it too hard to resist the smell of kk's whenever I go there

They are very pretty. My Summer Chintz ones were a wedding present too.

I googled your Summer Chintz and they are also absolutely ideal :)

    Evening lovely people!

A slow day for me at Mr T's Emporium today , just the 2 DTD's...one was even accidental!!!:eek::eek: Yes really!!!

I won't say the items or the stores as they have all gone anyway but the first wasn't even an OOD sel,it just scanned at 8 times the shelf price :D...some of them fell into my trolley at that point....oops.DTD no problem:)

Next store no scanner :( but bought something I have bought lots of times before always cheap but when paying was WAY more expensive :D:D:D, I nearly had a heart attack as I wasn't sure I had enough money to pay as I didn't know!!Managed to pay, could not believe my luck...DTD given with no problem at all didn't even have to ask.

I did encounter another Jobsworth :D who tried to tell me that the product didn't match the SEL and was doing sleight of hand worthy of the great Paul Daniels to try to confuse me.Excuse me pal , that is the same product EXACTLY oh look even the numbers match!Sadly I had purchased over 20 of said items.Bad luck.:(:D

Arguing with Jobsworths had become a new hobby of mine!

    Saturday's result - Smart1e 2 - Mr T and his minions 0.

Oh and I ended up with more money than I started with even after my shopping lol! And used my last 4 £5 off £40 vouchers thanks to being "overcharged"!

    :T:T:T

    Potential bet glitch :)

Bet Status: The following bets were successfully matched :

    Chev Walker (Bradford) odds 4.7 ( 7/2, 4p ) Stake £10.00 Risk £37.00 Profit £10.00.

bet on Chev Walker not to score, given he is not starting or in squad...

probably will get canceled but you never no :)

Frequent I so want to understand this matched betting thing. Are there any guides for the beginner? Can do numbers but don't know where to start with this. Thanks :)

in a way freddiesmum i think it gives us a stronger bond ...that we all have something extra in common ...

i remember when i was on hols in Kerala a young waiter lad used to join us at the pool side everynight at 10pm ...he used to gaze into the skies and look at the moon/stars with a look of lost of his face ...when we asked him why he did this he replied matter of factly that he and his girlfriend (who was at the other end of the India - probably Kashmir ) had made a pact that each night they would do this has they then shared a bond and had something in common .
    young love eh .

    Aaaawwww! We've all been there.
