Anyone else find it weird to think we are all looking at the same moon and stars..or am I just strange..lol:rotfl:

in a way freddiesmum i think it gives us a stronger bond ...that we all have something extra in common ...

i remember when i was on hols in Kerala a young waiter lad used to join us at the pool side everynight at 10pm ...he used to gaze into the skies and look at the moon/stars with a look of lost of his face ...when we asked him why he did this he replied matter of factly that he and his girlfriend (who was at the other end of the India - probably Kashmir ) had made a pact that each night they would do this has they then shared a bond and had something in common .
    young love eh .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

    Evening all
Caught up at last and I'm afraid there is only one thing I can say to you HC.........Yeeeeeukkkkkk !!!
Get using that washing machine or you will be known as Smelly Chappy!

My son managed to win a bar of choc on his first attempt (took me about 12!!!) Printed it off only to find I'd put the paper back in the printer from where I'd cut the SSM coupons out......and the coupon printed at the bottom where there was no paper :o:o
    So missed out there!!

Met my mum today so haven't been to T's. Going to go tomorrow with my son's coupons which he has kindly donated to his mum ;)
Has anyone had any trouble redeeming them if there is a different christian name on the coupon?

    They don't check your name
    :(

Don't know if this compares but it should. Ambipur are on the ssm mission coupons, Ambi Pur 3Volution Refills are £5 in T's but £3.50 in A's, so should get JTD of £1.50 so with coupon & JTD costs £2.50 each, good if you use them. Can you tell I'm trying to work out tomorrows shop?;)

The Alaska one doesn't compare but it was the nicest smell so not overly worried. My results from yesterday are:

    Total before coupons = £40.58
Total after coupons (MOC, SSM and wombled JTD) = £21.59
    JTD total = £15.58
Effective total after all discounts = £6.01
    Effective total savings = £34.57 :j:j

    1 x CADBURY FAIR TRADE DAIRY MILKBUBBLY 90G £ 1.42 £ 1.00
    4 x KLEENEX + BALSAMTISSUES 3PLY REGULAR £ 9.60 £ 6.00
    2 x HERBAL ESSENCES SHAMPOO DAZZLINGSHINE 400ML £ 6.64 £ 3.00
    8 x LENOR PURE CARE SENSITIVE 750ML £ 15.92 £ 8.00

There's only 2 of us here and I do a minimum of 3 but usually 5 washes a day

    Say what now? :eek::eek::eek:

No Ts today. Arms are wrecked after mowing the lawn. That's the first time I've ever done the post-winter mow (ex always [STRIKE]wrecked[/STRIKE] mowed the lawns) and it was a killer. Treated myself to a wee Madras and now supping on some Hoegaarden (rose beer). My new ironing board came during the week (yes the fancy Brabantia one) but I think it'll be waiting another couple of days before it gets Christened!

got a new printer :D went for the HP 3050A in the end... will have a look if I can find some cheap compatibiles on ebay...

Keep an eye on the link in this expired deal. You'll get the 2 ink cartridges for £9.50. I already have 2 spare sets as I don't want the hassle of messing around with refilling etc.

Awwwh what a nice guy he sounds!! Totally agree though, I meant weird in a nice way!! Quite warming to know when your feeling rubbish or lonely, someone somewhere is probably feeling exactly the same way and looking at the same thing you are. Or maybe I am just strange looking into the sky when i am feeling a bit lost in life!!

Snap ant did you use different clubcards for each one? or different printers to print them off? Only ask as me and my sister used two different computers (same printer) to print ours off, I used my clubcard and she doesnt have one so didnt enter anything, but only my one would scan through... Her coupon wouldnt scan, and wouldnt even work when the SA entered it manuallybut mine worked fine so wonder if they can detect it was printed on the same printer or something or maybe was the fact my sister doesnt have a clubcard?

On the subjects of bed & bedding, does anyone know any good firm pillows? I keep buying cheapies and they are ok for a couple of weeks and then they just go flat as a pancake. Anyone got any good ones that they could reccomend? Don't mind paying a bit more as might mean I can actually sleep properly!

Have a look in TK Maxx / Homesense - they always have lots of pillows and duvets of decent quality for reasonable prices - nearly bought some down ones in there myself today but was off to Primarni after and didn't want to carry them.

Sorry, been awol for the past few days so no chance of catching up with everything. Went to the big Xtra at Sl0ugh today..and saw the biggest rat scuttle across the car park in the middle of the afternoon :eek::eek::eek: then after starting to pick up all the cleaning stuff I went for, realised I'd left my coupons at home, so came out with two KK doughnuts...not very MSE :o
