Yes, it's very pretty. I have some "Summer Chintz" cups and saucers which I never use. I think I'll give it a try with those.

Issyc, you in turn have inspired me. Just remembered I have some really pretty Royal Doulton "Sudbury" which we got as a wedding present decades ago but virtually never use. There are tea cups, a milk jug and a very pretty tea pot which could form a tableau, and also some tureens.

    This is the design

Dunnlopillo but make sure you get pure latex ones. They come in different firmnesses, last forever, naturally hypoallergenic, dustmites can't live in them, hand washable and just plain brilliant. We take ours on holiday and have petit ones for airline travel. Never go flat my current one's are 10+yrs old
I might possibly have worked in this field:rotfl::rotfl:
    Not for dunnloppillo though

thankyou...where can you buy them...and how much do they cost?
  • Today I nipped into T's the drinks section was empty hardly any cartons or cans left. I got 75 clear pocket files for 25p. Also they'd run out of standard size carry bags as apparantly they have been spending too much money on them. They only had the really small bags, the man in front wasn't impressed when he had £160 of shopping:rotfl:
The SA told him the staff have been offered £100 if they can come up with a solution to the amount of bags used by customers. He used a few choice words and told her to tell the manager he should be sacked and his wages used for proper sized bags:rotfl::rotfl:

You can try john lewis, bensons for beds etc you can get them online but go into a bed shop first. They will have them on display beds for you to try. The firm one is the serenity qx. They range from £30-£50. But try them first you probably won't need as firm as you think. No matter how many pillows you sleep on now you will only need one of these.

Just about to have a bbq and noticed the moon. According to star walk app, that's Jupiter and Venus next to it. It's so clear. Anyone know if that's correct? TIA

I am reliably informed by OH ( who knows about the stars) that it is Jupiter and Saturn

They are very pretty. My Summer Chintz ones were a wedding present too.

  • Sorry for taking so long to reply.

To get your documents wirelessly synced to your iPad via iCloud you first need to upload the page/numbers document to iCloud. As long as your signed in to iCloud on your iPad and you have Pages/Numbers app installed on both devices it should then sync to your iPad.

I haven't figured this out, but I don't think it's possible. If you update a document on your iPad then it will upload the new changes to the document in the cloud but this won't update the document on your Mac. You get the updated document you have to go to iCloud.com and download it. It's a bit of a faff but that should be sorted in Mountain Lion.

If you want to take word/excell documents from your old PC then you need to see if you can save them as the apple format as windows files won't work on the Mac. There, as far as I can tell is no way to change apple type file to a windows tips file on an iPad. You will have to download the document from iCloud then export it to the windows format. Unless of course you have Microsoft Word/Excell for Mac installed and even so, not sure windows files can be viewed on the iPad as I don't think Microsoft has the necessary apps for the iPad.

If that's not clear enough let me know and I'll try and answer it better.

Thanks for this Happy it really helps. I can get Microsoft Office professional from work for £8.50 so I think it will be worth getting it to see if that helps. I have managed to upload some of the excel docs to ICloud, but didn't realise at first that it then had to be viewed on the IPad before I could open it again on my Mac in ICloud. As you say I hope they sort this out with Mountain Lion as it seems a bit of a faff!!! I am waiting to get the new iPhone 5 when it comes out later in the year so it would be great to be able to network all 3.
I have quite a few excel docs so I may be gone a while ......

Thanks so much for your help, please let me know if I am being really thick or a complete pain::D:D
