poor cow? Classic 60's Ken Loach film. Was X-rated at the time but would seem a bit tame now. Situations are still familiar today however?

very true artha , he sees life as it is , as it was and as it will be .

the over used phrase ' gritty realism ' springs to mind .
I must admit i liked the wind that shakes the barley ...and you can't mention Loach without mentioning Kes , it would be rude , the school football match still makes me laugh even after all these years and views .

Robin Friday (rip) eat your heart out .

Although it does seem funny now it also brings back some not so nice memories of when I was at school and a particular sports master (head of sport). We would all line up before sports lessons and subjected to an inspection. Anyone with dirty kit or mismatching kit or had forgotten kit was taken out in front of everyone, bent over and given a dose of "Sammy the Sandshoe" across the backside. Sadly it was often the kids from poorer backgrounds that took the brunt:(:(

My dad has just sent me £40 worth of tesco vouchers :eek::j

Four £10 of when you spend £30 instore vouchers. It's been sent to him however he knows that I'm addicted to tesco:o:o so he has kindly given them to me!!! plus he barely ever shop there (I guess they are trying to tempt him back)

Can I use them? They don't have his name on. I assume I can but might be mistaken.

If I can then they will go nicely with my JTD voucher tomorrow!

    £30 spend - 10 -20 = FREE:eek::T:j:T:j

It's so funny when we get so excited with vouchers;)but it did become like an addiction:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Probably:rotfl: I posted on here about seeing JW towards the start but LW didn't seem to appear for a few days. Second batch? Has anyone on here done that?

Don't suppose that DeanGollytheviking Goulsbra is someone on here? They've posted that one of my tips was the best they'd seen.
Hope they didn't think I was serious, although taken at face value it is eminently sensible:rotfl:

They are a friend of Martins here but I'll let them stay hidden or expose themselves if they want to;););):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Had to nip to the express to get some peppers(really grates on me to pay full price but I needed them) and relieved Mr Express of 4 more comforts. Now it's in Expresses OMG my couponing will reach a whole new level, I've got loads of Expresses near me;)

Printed 2 vouchers in total today and now can't print any more ...

I had this appear last night on a household coupon, but I was able to print my non-household coupons fine, then went back and I was allowed to print my household one, makes no sense!

just been to tesco tr*wbridge the only one nearest to me..where always..as in always.. the prices are updated...and got my 1st dtd there..

the airwick plug-in airfreshners are reduced to £4.00 but I was charged the original price of £6.50...so yay...dtd..

Well done! I was there yesterday getting treated like dirt (not by CS, by SA and till manager), not my local though. I used to work there about 13 years ago, their standards of service have dropped hugely since then......the way I was spoken to yesterday, I would have been sacked for back in 1998/9!
check out this comment....... Ive deleted her name... I tink she probably might be on MSE somewhere!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

****** ****** With regards to the partner facebook issue, im not so sure that one makes me cringe ... i have other pet hates...i hate people using coupons for the wrong items, calling the cashiers trouts in the supermarkets, selling coupons on ebay, people wombling in asda and tesco, and i dont like it when people have multi facebook accounts for themself and multi email addresses, as we need to be fair to others. I think i dont mind the partner facebook thing so much because i used this fabulous tips site last night, then my hubby did it in his break whilst at work and then printed them for one of the nurses.... so she got some vouchers i think... he wasnt so sure how many.

Meant to say as well, are frogs or toads supposed to be hopping round the garden now? Just went down to the office, it's at the bottom of the garden and has glass floor length doors. In front of it there is a deck and their were two HUGE frogs or toads sitting in front of the doors LOOKING in the office. I turned round a bit sharpish and went back in doors. I am petrified of them!!:eek::eek::eek:DH went down to move them and said they were really dopey, but dopey or not, I'm not going back out there:p we've got a pond but I usually only see them in the summer.

Has anyone bought 3 of the middle one? Maybe a chance of 3 for £5 kicking in also. If it was to, it would be 53p a jar.
