• Now then you lot... The Options... Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Im confused, 2 discounts were taken on my receipt. BUT not for the whole 20 that I bought (I bought 20 because they are 5 for a £1 in Asda)
This is what I bought

8 x Belgian chocolate
7 x dreamy caramel
4 x turkish delight and
1 x coconut

receipt states

Options 4 for £1 = -£1.40
Options 4 for a £1 = -£1.12

So try working that one out...

BTW it was in an extra...

This worked for me at the weekend with Belgian Chocolate and Dreamy Caramel.

Chocolate Cherry is the only one on .com which isn't showing the 4 for £1 so no idea if it is the Coconut or Turkish Delight that are the problem.

Didn't notice they were 5 for £1 in A - thank you for the tip. :)

I'm guessing your SSM voucher for Herbal Essence was taken off full price and then the remainder was then halved?

Possibly, although in the same shop I bought two Palmolive shower milk bottles half price at 79p in conjunction with a 25% off toiletries till spit voucher, and it took the 25% off the original £1.59, meaning I got another 40p off and each bottle was only 39p! :T Although now the offer is BOGOF not half price......

I seem to recall it doing that with the 45p off the Ricolas during the vitamin glitch i.e. using the full £1.45 for the 3 for 2 then deducting 45p off each packet....:D

Disaster shopping trip and no bargains for me :(
Weirdest guy in the tesco car park handing out menus for a new indian opening near us, he asked if I wanted a menu and I said no thanks we dont usually get take away, and he proceeded to shove the thing in my face as I was trying to get DS out of his car seat and I again told him I wasnt interested.. I was going to put ds in the buggy to do a 'proper' shop (where you dont end up carrying them round the whole of tesco) but this guy was just really suspicous so I thought prob best to get away asap lol..
Anyway he just stood by my car staring at me and was like have a menu anyway maybe you will want take away basically throwing it in my car, I was like ok thanks bye.. and then he just carried on standing there completley invading my personal space stood in my parking bay just staring at me, I just gave him the weirdest look and was like "you really neeed to learn about peoples personal space" and walked off. what a werido!!!

I had the same issue with two chinese guys yesterday, I had only just started having my shopping put through on a manned till and they were practically sitting on my shoulders, I had to say "excuse me please" and politely but obviously nudge them out of my space at least twice, some people just don't get it do they?!

Not as nasty as your experience, that would have really creeped me out!!

• just been into mr t's to see if the options glitch was working in my local but sadly it was not, however i did notice that the options 16g cherry is not going through at 4 for £1. the sel on all the others say any 11g or 13g so i argued my point and the sa said sorry and i got my DTD no probs making them 10p each. YAY!
so my £30.33 shop -15 SSM vouchers -DTD-£10 gift card from mr t's for selling me ood mustard=£4.25..... and that is before i get my JTD from the herbal essence, lenor and oral b.

So can i say a big thanks to everyone on here who post things and help us all out.

QUOTE This happened to me while back with a 1p thing, the previous day the SA had done it for me and next day wouldnt. But she did admit that she'd actually got told off the day before for doing it:(That's why now I try and pick different SA's because I'd hate to get one particular one in trouble with 1p stuff. But I still have my coupon favourite SA's;)
Yes she may of got caught with her 2 and she was very appologetic. Hope she didn't get into trouble.

andy222;51251407]Hi i am not being funny but what can a friend do.You need someone who knows your rights etc. Please take the advise given on this thread and contact your union now.
If you are in a trade union, you need to take advice and take a Union Rep to the meeting with you. If not,you are always better being accompanied. Tesco make notes of meetings as a record (in case of impending tribunal proceedings for unlawful dismissal). This person will be recorded on the minutes as being present. You should get a record of the outcome of the meeting.
