The Waitrose coupon was a £10 off £60 spend, but I'm not likely to spend that much in there....shame the 'Mission' coupons don't have Waity's as an option

Perhaps my experiences are different to others but I thought when you registered for a clubcard that most people would give an email address? (except of course those who are really paranoid about Tesco:rotfl:)
I have a main email registered with Tesco and several "cough"other emails on my Virginmedia/hotmail accounts. I've sometimes put my own receipts, using my clubcard number, into an alternative address and they've always come back to the input address first before being forwarded to my main email automatically:)
So does that mean that you have had the same price check come back to two different email addresses? even though you obviously only put in one email address. Or did i read that wrong...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

If you want to avoid this then remove the Tesco cookies from your browser before entering the receipt details.
If you don't do this then the site remembers you and uses the email address you originally gave them.

That could be why I don't have the problem described as I always use CCleaner in between inputs of any information.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -
AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO THOSE WITH SSM BOOTS COUPONS
I used mine today on Herbal Essences 400ml bottles which are down to £1.74 (discounted by £1.75 each), now the £1 coupon came off fine off each time (in seperate transactions) HOWEVER Boots didn't discount the product properly!
Now here's where it gets a bit complicated....
On the first receipt with many other offers on it, it discounted it only by 63p and on the receipt with just the HE bottle on it, it discounted it by £1.25.
At first I accepted the assistant's explanation (I had only noticed that the seperate one was wrong at this point) that because it was half price, I was only being given half the discount i.e. 50p off the £1.74 price of the bottle instead of £1. But while I was in the pharmacy queue I realised that they could go back to the manufacturer and ask for £1 when they'd only given me 50p (hadn't realised what had happened with the boots discount at this point).
I got one of the assistants to get the shop floor manager and we both worked it out (seperately) that I was owed £1.62, and she happily put it onto my advantage card in points which is fine by me.
Just check, it may only happen on the HE products but I doubt it somehow! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I don't think it's a requirement and not everyone has an email address. Certainly if you signed up for Clubcard at the beginning then it wouldn't have been required, so unless you shop with them online or redeem CC vouchers online then the chances are that you would never be asked for it.0 -
