I never liked the comfort pure very much as it wasn't smelly enough for me ;)
So I'm stocking up on all my favourite scents with the lenor.
Does anyone know how long the cleaning products are on offer at T's....want to make sure I use my coupons before the offers end.
And are they available in all T's or just the superstores/extras?

04/03 if I remember correctly

ETA: I saw the stuff in a Metro as well, not as much choice as it's not very big, but was def on in there as well :)

On the whole it's been a good day for me.

    Car Update

Tried looking at the fuse to see if anything obvious was causing the "instrument cluster failure" ... couldn't see anything and even tried swapping some of the fuses around to see if it had any effect. Nothing.

Googled problem ... and a possible solution posted to a similiar problem was to drive it for 20 mins ... did that. Nothing.

Googled problem again ... discovered garages that do "mail order fixes" on clusters ... lost the will to live, gave in and went to local garage.

Started describing problem and they finished my sentence for me!! That actually had another Audi with cluster failure (slightly diff) and had been waiting for the "mail order fix" from another garage for 10 days (1st one sent didn't work). They said to go back tmrw and they'd spend 1hr on it just incase it was a loose connection (cos by now it did have some life but it quickly faded).

    So I went to Tescos.

    Shopping Update
Was too scared to buy anything cos I haven't done my homework (I've not even copied anyone elses) and I haven't managed to print any vouchers off so I just stuck to what I knew and I got:
    • 3 Littlest Pet Shop figs - 3 x 4p (now I'd cleared the shelves weeks ago so these must have been lurking in the stock room)
    • 2 x Sausage meat balls- 62p
    • 2ltrs of full milk - £1
    • 2 x 2ltrs Value sparkling water - 2 x 17p
SA on SS saw the 4p figures, looked at me suspiciously and passed a comment ... I just said "Yeah amazing they're reduced ... well obviously ... dunno what they are but much better than chocolate as easter pressies". :rotfl:

Total £2.70. Tried to use a PC'd JTD voucher £2.48 (Gold Blend) ... till asked for assistance. SA took voucher to another SA and to cut long story short I lost the receipt (but then I have a golden one from the return of 2 jars last week). So I paid 22p on debit card (cos till wasn't taking cash), wombled a receipt and legged it.

Got back to the car ... and low and behold ... the instrument cluster lit up and started working again!! And it's still working!! It's amazing, it's just like I've been to Lourdes.:A

I used a JTD voucher today and they sa did not have a clue. She ripped it in half after putting it through and handed me back the receipt. Can I use the same voucher again or would T's find out?

It's no different to photocopying a unique coupon so no don't do it as it is illegal

 After being AWOL for what seems like forever, I have finally caught up and am back :j

After getting over cold I had the other week, I then preceded to get a tummy bug (just when the price changeover was going wrong at t's ), then just as I was getting better OH, got my tummy bug and my internet decided it only wanted to connect for a max of 1hr 30 mins every 6 or so hours

Anyway, internet now reconnected, well at least until 12 tomorrow, when sky call me back and tell me to disconnect it so they can run some tests. Then who knows if it will work after that :(

Tummy and cold all better, but after being off all of my meds for a wk, I keep getting head rush and feeling light headed if I do too much

Good news is my dad came home from hospital on friday and has walked his first few steps since being admitted on 8th Jan :j.
Bad news, all medical staff have now abandoned any interest in any kind of care for him, with the exception of some district nurses a couple of times a wk at most and have decided that my mum is some kind of superwoman  and it would appear that his leg may already be infected again :( Dressing changed today and swabs taken, so just waiting on a blood test now and the results of the swab.
If he needs antibiotics, he will probably have to be readmitted to have them intravenousley as because of his low immune system, they take too long to work otherwise.

    Anyway enough about me.

Bensonsmum - I am so sorry to hear about your FIL getting worse. Feel free to talk to us as much as you want. It must very hard for your DH to see his dad like this and you do need to be strong for him, but remember to do this you need to have someone to talk to, too.
Sending both you, your DH and FIL loads of :heart2:and :grouphug:'s

Magicowen - I'm am sorry to hear that your grandad passed away yesterday :( I know things will seem really hard for you and your family right now, but try to remember all the lovely things about your grandad and how special he was, and bring these thoughts to mind, whenever you are feeling sad.

Thank you all for your kind words.
Still thinking and praying for you and yours Bensonsmum and 3dogs and anyone else who I have missed, I've been trying to keep up but it's been hard.

Fudge - your Dad is in my thoughts and prayers for continuing to get better and hope that there is no infection. That's fantastic news that he's been able to take his first few steps
I'm trying so hard to think of all the good times but at the moment it just makes me cry more, I feel so out of control. It's just so wrong, he went in with a minor issue and ended up with so many things wrong due to the lack of care.
I am sick of hearing from docs/nurses that he had a good life, did so well getting to 91 but they don't understand he could have had years left in him, he went in from his own home where he lived on his own perfectly well, able to walk, able to look after himself, mind all there, his age may have been 91 but his body was more of that of a 60 yr old! He had so much more left to give :o

I've been at the hospital most of my free time for the past month now and now it just feels strange not having to go there, not having to think about it, not having to check my phone for messages or missed calls.

I decided to go to T's tonight to try and keep myself busy and to buy some Tyskie Polish Beer to toast to my grandad - that's all he asked for in hospital, thankfully he managed to be allowed some on Saturday so got his wish!
FOr all of a few minutes I was happy as I found the magnetic salt and pepper things so if anyone in the C0v3ntry area is looking for some send me a pm!
Oh and also Tesco Finest Plum and Balsamic Chutney in Kilner jars for 89p
Then though I felt guilty for smiling at screwing over T's :o I just want him back so much, it's so not fair.

So apologies if I ramble over the next few days, but seeing how great you guys are does help, so thank you so much for that. Being able to write it down helps, no one can see you crying your eyes out and doesn't have to try to understand you through the sobs! :o

Just dreading work tomorrow and people asking how things are, not sure I'll hold up ....
