Thank you all for your kind words.
Still thinking and praying for you and yours Bensonsmum and 3dogs and anyone else who I have missed, I've been trying to keep up but it's been hard.

Fudge - your Dad is in my thoughts and prayers for continuing to get better and hope that there is no infection. That's fantastic news that he's been able to take his first few steps
I'm trying so hard to think of all the good times but at the moment it just makes me cry more, I feel so out of control. It's just so wrong, he went in with a minor issue and ended up with so many things wrong due to the lack of care.
I am sick of hearing from docs/nurses that he had a good life, did so well getting to 91 but they don't understand he could have had years left in him, he went in from his own home where he lived on his own perfectly well, able to walk, able to look after himself, mind all there, his age may have been 91 but his body was more of that of a 60 yr old! He had so much more left to give :o

I've been at the hospital most of my free time for the past month now and now it just feels strange not having to go there, not having to think about it, not having to check my phone for messages or missed calls.

I decided to go to T's tonight to try and keep myself busy and to buy some Tyskie Polish Beer to toast to my grandad - that's all he asked for in hospital, thankfully he managed to be allowed some on Saturday so got his wish!
FOr all of a few minutes I was happy as I found the magnetic salt and pepper things so if anyone in the C0v3ntry area is looking for some send me a pm!
Oh and also Tesco Finest Plum and Balsamic Chutney in Kilner jars for 89p
Then though I felt guilty for smiling at screwing over T's :o I just want him back so much, it's so not fair.

So apologies if I ramble over the next few days, but seeing how great you guys are does help, so thank you so much for that. Being able to write it down helps, no one can see you crying your eyes out and doesn't have to try to understand you through the sobs! :o

Just dreading work tomorrow and people asking how things are, not sure I'll hold up ....

    Oh sweetheart :grouphug:

That's a shame- I realise yes it does say toothpaste on it!You have saved me some checkout embarrassment anyway thank you!!:D

I wasn't saved unfortunately, but the Oral B voucher was one in a long line (of customers I was holding up :rotfl:) at Sainsbob's, so I had time to swap my dental floss for another tube of toofpaste :T

Two things. Did you use your clubcard, if so, no, as they will know you used it more than once. Secondly, Did she write on the receipt, if so, nope...

Yes I did use my cc and no she didn't write on the receipt. I think it is safer not to try thanks everyone.
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

Unfortunately we only get compassionate leave if it's a spouse/mother/father, and I don't have enough holiday left :( But even if I could I suppose I would just be moping at home which will do me no good either :(

......Cogs started turning in my brain  and suddenly the penny dropped  .... I reckon the reason those wombled receipts sometimes don't return for us is that the CC holder has already registered their email address with Tesco :eek::eek:........

    HTH

Perhaps my experiences are different to others but I thought when you registered for a clubcard that most people would give an email address? (except of course those who are really paranoid about Tesco:rotfl:)

I have a main email registered with Tesco and several "cough"other emails on my Virginmedia/hotmail accounts. I've sometimes put my own receipts, using my clubcard number, into an alternative address and they've always come back to the input address first before being forwarded to my main email automatically:)
