I have some really really bad days as well :D But I just carry on knowing that it is not going to be as good as it should be and that just motivates me more. Anyway, everything in moderation, some days I struggle with the moderation part :o:D

    Afternoon All ,

everything in moderation , including moderation . :)

I've been on the scout for a exercise bike this morn but nearly all the reviews state ' hard or uncomfortable seat ' ....I think my best bet would be to visit one the mega stores that sell such goods and give a few a peddle .

Anyone tried the gel seats they sell , they're meant to be comfy .

Great time West , top class .

    Hi

Has anyone else noticed that the Vicks coupons although saying £1 off have 88 on the digits in the barcode where it's normally the amount it's going to take off?

    Does that make sense?

    Tia

Not printed this one as wouldnt use it, whats the number before the 88..? if its a 1 or 2 i may end up using them...:p

Question for the slowcooker fans, used it last week for the first time with great success doing roast chuck.. today ive just loaded it with whoopsie mince and pasta sauce.. is 8 hours ok if i leave it on low...?

:T Any idea how long I should cook it for? and what do you have with yours? Rice (what kind)? or .....
    Sorry for all the Q's

Hi sorry for not coming back earlier could not keep eyes open last night. I have mine with either rice or jacket potatoes. Sometimes I cook it in a wok and then bung it all in the slow cooker and keep it on low for hours. Other times I will brown the rice and onions and then bung it all in for several hours. It does not really matter how long as it does not dry up in the slow cooker. Good Luck hope it goes well:)

Yes, because it won't. I'm not kidding, no-one has the answer or has been able to fix it, it seems there is a compatibility issue somewhere, I know having banged my head against a wall trying to fix this.

There is a good way to get around it though, download and install the coupon printer using Internet Explorer and hey presto, it'll suddenly work in Firefox as well! That's what happened to me, I thought I'd have to keep copy and pasting coupon addresses into IE but no, works fine!

I'm on Windows 7 using FF and printing OK but I have very vague recollections of having problens back in the day. I'm not sure what issues you guys are having but my was related to the printer not being found so quite a few times I had to reinstall the printer, reinstall the drivers and even run a fix tool from HP but no problems for months now. Not what you wanted to hear I know. My folks couldn't get it to work so I can't double up on vouchers. Can't remember if they're Win7 or Vista.

Not sure if it makes a difference but my coupon printer software seems to be from Before I Shop?
OK guys - with all this extra couponing and huge stashes of laundry and cleaning products, what you need is one (or two, or three?) of these

Ok it's been a while since I did my degree but I don't recall plastic being able to rust.

Loving that the shelves are able to hold 100kg!! Well done Ts on another epic fail on your product descriptions :rotfl:

Someone was mentioning money and training (I think Zippy started it) and how we train our kids. My parents raised me that you don't buy what you can't afford to pay outright, the exceptions being house & car. I have a credit card but only used it for work expenses. My wonderful previous employer (one of the worlds biggest banks) would make us pay up front for hotels then take ages reimbursing. That was the only reason I have a credit card as London hotels aren't cheap, even the dingy one they made us pay for.

Thankfully though, because of those training lessons from my folks I have no debt. I never used to shop much in the sales or buy stuff when it was reduced (too much of a snob) but now needs must. With everything that is going on at the minute, if things go pear-shaped at least I know I have a full freezer and the cupboards are buldging. More important I have loads of bits stashed for the boys so they will never go without as long as I'm here.

Well I'm off out for the day armed with MOCs. Wish I was spending them at my local trout laden store but I'm not in the mood for arguing!
