    1. alcohol / fizzy juice aisle, near far end on store past checkouts.
    M4ryh1ll
    1. as you walk in, go straight, 3rd aisle from end on left.
    2. in clothing section
    3. in alcohol aisle but was missing last time i went there (2 weeks ago)

    No scanner, older store
    P4rkh34d
New store, 2 scanners, niether works
    Ruth3rg13n
    1. As walk in, on back on pillar 3/4 of way down aisle. (Just walk to back & turn around or go about 10:30am when all the stores managers have meeting there)
    2. in cothing aisle
    Si1v3rburn
    no scanner

only thing found at P4rh34d is illooms. other stores have found goodies but it all depends on whether they dump old stock on to shelfs that day. Pot luck. I dont do dtd so cant comment on ood sel, only go for old stock or "special pricing offers"

    trouting also depends on sa.

enjoy ur trip & leave some goodies for the rest of us

scanner in st r0ll0x hasn't been working the last couple of times i've been in. did notice a few ood sels upstairs but i've never went for dtd so didn't try them out :)
I'm not really a new user, just wanted a new username

Hi all, just a really quick post on a gorgeous afternoon from just outside Albufeira. The almond blossom's out, the sun's shining and the white wine's chilling in the fridge - lovely jubbly! :) Only thing missing is a few branches of Mr T's!

Hope you are all well and behaving yourselves, hugs and congratulations to anyone needing them, looking forward to rejoining you some time next week ( have to pay for wifi here - eek!).

    Regards,

    Lutz xx
    Hope is not a strategy.

Officially no, but they will both scan and in practice its a case of looking for a nice friendly SA. :)

At my nearest Tesco, you can't choose your SA. There is always someone on duty with a headset in front of the tills checking that people are going through the tills as quickly as possible. This person then directs you to the till that they think is the best. It's a pain.

HC @ Westie - When I was a kid we were always given those stocking things with chocolate bars in, my brother ate all his on Xmas day/Boxing day whereas I saved mine. My mum would then make me share mine with him!

However I got him back by, when I had spent all my pocket money, going "ooooo let's put all our money together and halve it so it's fair!"

    Gotta love younger siblings :rotfl:

You can ignore them though, then they just send the next person to the till with less of a queue. It helps if you do this while looking like you're three sheets to the wind :D
