well I've been having a go at this SSM thingy and can only get as far as 31 stickers. How on earth do you guys get the rest?

I'm no expert by any means (cos I've only 28 stcikers) but if you got to My Tasks and click Stickers then you can see what Stickers you have.

If you hold your mouse over the ones you haven't yet got it shows you how near/far you are from getting that Sticker.

  • Morning lovely elite!

Gotta lot of catching up to do! Made it to Glasgow yesterday :) Went to Asda yesterday done lots of wombling! Was a hot bed of receipts, was great :D Havent put them in yet though. Does anyone know how long an APG lasts for?

Just cut all my SSM coupons, planning on going to T's tonight once DD is in bed so I can get peace for a proper look about ;):D Any recommendations for which T's is the best/trout free in Glasgow?! I'm thinking I'll probably head for St R0llox, but not 100% sure. TIA :D

Everything in moderation, definitely a good tip :A

Hi bensonsmum, how are you doing? Lovely to see you posting (you may very well have been posting in the last few days but seen as I'm failing to keep up, I haven't seen you for a little while!) How's your FIL doing now? :Axx

    Morning Fudge Cake

I didn't manage to post for over a week as went home without the laptop lead, managed to borrow my daughters a few times but by the time i had checked emails etc; she was wanting it back :mad::mad:

FIL is back out of hospital again, he had to go in last week for a CT scan (i think) and also a biopsy - ended up with a phneumothorax (sp?) so had to stay in again for four days. He is a lot weaker than he was and now needs help standing up from his bed (now in the front room so he is always with someone) and also when going to the loo, so hopefully someone will be out in the next day or two to fit a handrail in the loo so he can pull himself up. He sees his consultant tomorrow who is going to tell him exactly what is going on, routes of action they can/cannot take and what he wants to do and also give him time frames. OH is going with him, but i know he is absolutely terrified - as the difference in him just over this last week has been immense, i have tried to tell him that he won't be around for long but im sure he thinks he will be here for ever - don't think he wants to believe he is going to die :( so i think when he gets told tomorrow by the consultant my OH might actually believe it and take it in. FIL himself knows and accepts what is going on and is being very brave about it all, unlike me i think i would be kicking and screaming all the way.

We have had people come round this week from "Integrated Support Service" so at least it looks like we will get some help in caring for him, they have said they will step in when the time is right but in the meantime will look in a couple of times a week to see how he is progressing (not sure if that's the right word), but from how they were speaking they will be with us sooner rather than later.

All in all doing ok though and sad to say it - happy to be back at work, i can still make all the phone calls and contact people that need it, do form filling etc

I found it very difficult being at home (small 3 bed rabbit hutch) as five adults and 1 teenager in the house for the week as half term, DD works in pre school so she had week off, step son came to visit for the week, Son came to spend the week with FIL as not much going on at work at the moment so took time off when he could, to be honest i was going barmy - i had nowhere to escape to without there being someone near enough on top of me, and it got to the stage where i knew i was being horrible but just couldn't help myself so really glad to be back at work. But sadly that means OH is going to have to face tomorrow without me.

The good thing is FIL has now not had a fag for five weeks, and its seriously got me thinking about giving up - with seeing what he is going through.

Glad to be back with you all and really enjoying the light relief this thread brings.

Sorry if i have waffled tooooo much xxx

I've seen them in Ts for about £5 before. Our local poundland has them often too (I got a Belkin one as a spare from there).

I see Neosi beat me to it. :).
