G'day Piq
Oh and I was right to be suspicious of him being so good turns out he was trying to poison me by contaminating the potato hash with fairy liquid and yes it does bubble up when heating it in a microwave . The trouble is that not only did he do it to one batch he did it to the brand new batch he cooked up on Sunday night so bye bye money , at least it was mostly woopsied stuff but still.
Now that's funnyHas he taken out a large insurance policy on you recently?
Many moons ago DS1 washed up the mugs prior to making a round of tea, he didn't rinse them out and served tea that looked like greenish cappuccino. All except his adoring grandma passed, even she had to after a couple of sips...Still waiting on your address missy and I won't take no for an answer. If I don't have it by the end of the week I'll begin the hunt for you .
Love
Alioops xx
I think there's a law about that you know! and another one about accepting socks from strangers [or was it sweets?]Marvellous news on the interview. And good that there's a possible explanation on why you've been feeling so down. (Apart of course that it's a miracle that you've been so up considering all the stuff that has been thrown at you recently).
Oh and Hi P. Not sure if I've spoken on your thread before but I've been following and rooting for you.
...and hi to you too Verbatim, I've seen you on all sorts of threads over the years. You are like a mse celebrity you know! I'm honoured that you're here!
Actually I feel better knowing I'm right, if that makes sense? Not sure how I missed all the symptoms of not having enough thyroxine in my system. I hadn't even moaned about the dry skin and putting on weight even though I'm fairly active. It'll take a little while to kick in once I've picked up the extra tablets tomorrow.PiggyBankShaker wrote: »Yay on the interview! :j Good luck with it. (I have one on the same day! So I'll be thinking of you)
I'm sorry I haven't been posting on your lovely diary. I've felt very guilty reading but not offering any support. I didn't feel up to it tbh, but I'm much better now. I do love reading your updates, you are my inspiration
Pret sounded mad yesterday, bet you were glad to get home...
I'm sorry you've been having a tough time too, it is difficult sometimes and so easy to hide under the duvet or sofa [well, maybe not under the sofa unless you're very thin]
We shall have a shared interview then! I will be thinking of you too, maybe that will make me less nervous....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I seem to have spent a good part of the afternoon trudging round an icy field trying to capture a rebellious horse. The Captain didn't want to come in so he was high tailing it around the paddock with his Shetland in hot pursuit.
Unluckily for him, I managed to capture the Shetland and bring her in, leaving him alone in the dusk. A couple of carrots persuaded him to come in for his dinner and bedtime. He'll be out again tomorrow, but I want him snug in a stable overnight.
I decided against riding as I felt we'd both had enough exercise running around the paddock.
Couldn't be bothered to cook tonight, so I got some frozen chips out the freezer and fried a couple of eggs. I'd forgotten just how nice egg and chips can be!
I feel better knowing what the problem is. Money is still an issue, I have no room to maneuver. and I am still frantically worried about it. Hopefully, something will come of my interview or my card in the Post Office [There is a board, well, a window actually, It was just that there were no cards up, mine is the only one up there. Splendid isolation display!]

Positive positive vibes your way.
I sort of quite like it. I've not had a job before where I've dealt with the public, yet not really had to use my brain. I'm not paid to use my brain, so I just do what has to be done as well as I can, then go home dead on time at the end of the shift. Hard work but someone else does the thinking, sort of nice....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I used to work in a bakery, and I liked it - really busy so shifts went fast, and all I had to do was serve and occasionally cook savory things, but not taxing and at the end of the day, I went home and didn't have to do anything else!
