Maty, Rodders is sooooo handsome!! How old is he? and how does he stay that clean, do you have a secret?

    Piq

Rodders is just over 6 months old. He really doesn't stay that clean but I had just given him a bath and a trim - I did a grooming workshop with him when he was 13 weeks old and this was our first attempt at doing him at home. It isn't perfect but not bad for a 1st attempt :o

our Ted used to snuggle up to his bear and wash it and then kick hell out of it, it was like he was repeating what his mum did to him (cept for the kicking bit of it). he only outgrew his bear when it fell apart, and by that time he'd transfered his love to another cat that we got, they were inseperable in the end.

Bless, he must have looked so sweet snuggled up, the kicking bit, not quite so sweet, but funny!

I have loads of photos of the Bear with his teddy, even though he's a serial killer, he looks adorable!

A very good attempt. Would you like to come and groom and tidy the Captain? You may need a lawnmower to get through his tail, it's always full of leaves, twigs, soil and probably the odd rabbit.

  • Hi Piq,

Although i should be working i reached a natural lull :rotfl::rotfl:thought i would pop over and read a random thread, picked yours and what do you know remembered captain.....

i did have a different user name before, but I can't even remember what it was. Only got as far as page 4 so far, but if you don't mind can i pop in for the journey?

my baby (for baby read great huge 16.2 tall and wide ish) had to leave me and ds to go and live with possibly the nicest lady i have ever met, so although i was sad it did infact work out as well as possible, and we still get to visit when we want.

looking forward to reading more tonight with the glass or maybe that was the bottle i have been looking at :)

Of course I don't mind, I'm thrilled! The more the merrier! I think I can say that all of us here love our mad, bad, adorable pets.

The Captain is up for a virtual share any day of the week. He's great fun if you like to stand in a ditch for an indeterminate length of time while he has a tantrum! He's far from all bad, it's the character of him that I love so much, nothing in life has beaten it out of him. If you're upset, he'll rest his shaggy head on your shoulder and blow horse snot in your ear and heaven help you if you feel indecisive, he'll make a horse decision there and then and it always involves food, a sudden head down to the grass verge sending you shooting over the top of his head....

I was in need of a virtual canter, hope you finish the assignment soon. Doglet is currently residing by the bed on "his" throw is having a grizzle. He considers he needs more food. Not only does he not but I do not need to be getting out of bed for any reason.

Loving the misadventures of Captain :D

We have an antique westie to add to the mix, in desperate need of a hair cut and tidy but it would have been too cold before, so next week she is booked in for a mates rates short back and sides.

Has anyone ever seen a 6 month old lurcher pup standing on an aga eating stew from the pot.....no neither has my mum but the footprints gave him away

Actually it's not much of an update, one day is often pretty much the same as any other. Not necessarily a bad thing, excitement is not always good news.

I'm about to go for a walk in the lovely sunshine to post a DVD set that I sold on Amazon last night. It's only £6 in the kitty, but better in than out, or so the actress once remarked to the vicar. Unfortunately, that puts paid to the NSD I had planned as I'll have to pay postage.

I applied for two jobs yesterday, heard back from an application from the previous week, thanks, but no thanks. At least they had the courtesy to reply.

I've nearly finished my first assignment, I'm having difficulty writing a closing paragraph though, maybe the walk in the sunshine past the building that had the fire will help.

Tomorrow morning is my JSA interview and I cannot find my mortgage paperwork anywhere, I've located an out-of-date statement, that will have to do at the moment. After the job centre, I thought I might take a trip to @ldi and do a very economical shop.

This rates as a very boring post!
