Bravo I say. Wik's brother is a fire man - find myself sucking myself in everytime I see him, without the lycra though.......

You always raise a smile, how would I manage without you? I must collect the sewing machine and make bags for you - kicking self for poor memory....
I shall continue on, looking for work and trying to make a living from writing, I wish I was a womble like you!

Piq well done on starting the signing on process. I am glad you have started. It may only be a bit of money but it is better than nowt.
Maty your little dog is lovely.
I have loved your tails (lol) of cats. I especially like the photo one that is sooo funny. I want a cat again. But we live right by a main road, and it wouldn't be fair on it. My boys want pets too but it is just taking a fair bit of time to get organised. My OH just doesn't 'get' how important having pets for our 2 boys is.... sigh.

Morning Chev!
Yes, I did it, I took everyone's advice and bit the bullet, I just hope I don't use the bullet to bite any employees of the job centre.
I think animals are important to family whilst they're growing up, it teaches love and responsibility. But you have to have your home and family ready for a pet, they can cause chaos and dissension if forced into the family equation. Perhaps you could engineer some meeting with delightful pets for your OH...

Trying to find an end for my 'event' assignment - stuck!
Just had a call from an agency who are looking for some bigwig analytical branding expert, the lady is sending over the job description as I am obviously a very convincing liar and said all the right things, even though I don't want to do this sort of job....
waiting for you to come and do my ironing...
eating my second breakfast of the dayand I wonder why I can't lose weight...
...and what are you up to?

Hello LT, how are you? I'm glad another cat had a teddy, I did think it a little unusual.
Bear's teddy was white and fluffy and at least three times a day he kneads it all over in circles whilst doing what I can only describe as a double purr. His idea of heaven is then to sit on my lap (some of him is on my lap, the rest overflows the sides) and have a cuddle. He always gives the teddy a session before snuggling up next to me at bedtime. Sometimes, because of where the teddy's nose is, it can look a little dodgy
He adopted the teddy on his first day here, from being a round fluffy ted, it is now flat, bald and dirty!

our Ted used to snuggle up to his bear and wash it and then kick hell out of it, it was like he was repeating what his mum did to him (cept for the kicking bit of it). he only outgrew his bear when it fell apart, and by that time he'd transfered his love to another cat that we got, they were inseperable in the end.0
