So poor I can't even pay attention

I haven't been missing in action, just had a friend round and then last night I couldn't get into the forum.
I have just spent £198 and feel slightly sick:shocked: Four new tyres  I got a puncture that couldn't be repaired and it was noticed that one tyre was illegal, one bordering and one close. The price isn't actually too bad, but still expensive, nevertheless. I considered sticking the cost on the credit card, but decided to have a very strict month on food and eb*ying to make the money up. The two items I have listed have bids on of £32 and £18 respectively with a couple of days to go.
I've another two items photographed ready to put on. I'm due down the yard later and will photo a couple of the Captain's rugs. With any luck that will net me £100ish. Must do it....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I've had problems getting on to the internet, and when I do, I can't list on eb@y  it just keeps timing out on me  Still reeling from paying for the tyres so need extra money!
Colin has broken the linking on the blinds, it must be the sign that says 'cat toy'. He's taken to doing his poop on a mountain of cat litter that he spends ages building [I thought cats buried poop] it then stinks the house through
I've no change for the bus, so I'm going to raid my whiskey bottle, I can't possibly get any cash out
....and I'm tired as Colin woke me at three, by licking my nose, to let me know his bowl was empty, gave him some dried food, which shocked him, the boy wants wet food! Then I couldn't get back to sleep.

Hope work is ok or as ok as work can be0 -
Oh dear, sounds like Colin is making his presence known. I'm sure he'll settle down soon enough.
I do have an image of him sitting by his litter tray thinking "this sand castle looks amazing! If only I had a little flag to go on top..."
Perhaps you need to buy him a few copies of Mining Monthly. Or threaten no 3 am treats unless he learns some cat litter-tray etiquette."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

It seems to be a cat trait at the moment this non burial of poo, friends cat is doing the same.
Interweb was useless for me recently

Catnip - or Kitty Crack as it is called in our house;) Causes great hilarity in our household if the cats ever get a whiff of it. Cant grow the stuff as they completely demolish it
I gave some to a friend for cat and she wrapped it up and put it under Christmas tree for their own cat - I warned her not to. Cat entered the room attacked the pile of presents ripped the packet to shreds and proceeded to do the wall of death around the room destroying tree and decor forcing owners out of room:eek: When he had finished he calmly washed his paws and walked out as if nothing had happened - children of said friend said it was best Christmas morning they had ever had :rotfl::rotfl: Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Even worse.....I came in the front door to be greeted by the sight of a cat poop hanging out the door of his cat litter tray. Inside was a little mountain of litter with no poop on top. He must have been so busy building his sandcastle that he forgot to bring his bottom into the tray
He's spent the evening chasing his ball around, crashing up and down the hall. He's nothing but a giant kitten. I do mean giant, he weighs 6.5kg  He's afraid of the ball with a bell in it, he's afraid of the catnip bubbles that I bought him and he's afraid of the feather toy that got 5 star reviews from every other cat owner in the land!
He eats like we're not poor and on a budget and he hissed at DS3 then hid behind the curtain for the duration of the visit :rotfl:
I think he's settling in....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

The whole internet thing is driving me crazy at the moment. I can't access it at all for hours on end. I had to list my items on eb@y via my phone in the end, not an ideal way of doing it really!
I'm considering changing supplier to get a better rate but I'm terrified of being cut off for weeks. I've read so many horror stories about changing and I'm lost without access to the internet
