I'll give it a go, if it stops raining. However, my photography skills aren't great and if it's dark the photo may only show the lights :D

Ooops commented on the broom cupboard on your thread [I hope ]

Colin is better and having not eaten much for a day is making up for it and trying to get a weeks worth of food out of me. He's not small by any stretch of the imagination, but he does not need a plate of food every hour.

I've started eb*ying again, well, I've sold one item and listed another. I've got another two items photographed and ready to list. I made £26 on the sold item which spurred me on to list another, it already has watchers. I will make myself list the next tonight....watch this space...

I made the decision to tax the car for the year, meaning I spent £120 yesterday:eek: I didn't do it for the whole £6 it saved, more for keeping the next one away from the MOT and insurance  [must ensure there's money put aside for that:(]

And £80.56 has hit the account as a Quidco payment :T That was my cashback for changing car insurance, well worth it!

On other fronts I'm still sorting out the back garden, it will be an on-going task forever I think, but I can see how lovely it will look next summer if I continue. I will be able to sit out there and sip my chilled wine....I brought home another trug load of the Captain's pooh for rotting down and filled a bin bag of dead leaves, also for rotting down. With the contents of the compost heap I will have plenty of stuff to dig in, adding the copious number of banana skins will ensure lovely plants next year!

I'm still applying for jobs but getting nowhere. I think a covering letter review is in order.

Another work stint later, preceded by an eye-test, I think I may need new glasses for reading and computing :(

Freshly picked blackberries with porridge for breakfast shortly....

Mmm, your breakfast sounds lovely :)

About your cover letter, I don't mind having a look over it if that would help? :)

    Hi P,
just catching up - was away last week and then catching up this week.

The fairy light sounds wonderful. Sounds like Colin is settling in nicely and finding his own toys and entertainment.

Weather has been awful - had the girls in twice this week. The little TB is more than ready to come in at night now and old chap is in at night now anyway. I am dreading the early starts again.

Do you have a Royal Mail depot near you? I have done many a Christmas Stint in evenings with the Royal Mail. Sometimes they start recruiting a few early so that they have some experienced ones on hand over the busy period. If you can then put your name down for Sundays - they money is better.
