Oh well done you Piq, feel a proud friend moment coming on.

If he does cough up and you end up working the weekend I bet you'll have a brilliant shift, you'll be all buoyed up and you know he'll be miserable.
Three Cheers for Piquant the Sassy! :T:T:Ttrix-a-belle wrote: »*enters from her currently chaotic life*

Thank you all! I'm still in bed wishing I hadn't said I'd do it! The money is desperately needed though. I made enough risotto last night to be able to nuke a portion for tonight and my homemade bread rolls were amazing [sorry, bragging a bit here, but they were] I kept back one to have with some soup when I get home [must remember to get a soup portion out the freezer]
I'll do a quick hoover round before I go, put a washing load on and lastly top the Bear's bowl up. Ought to be getting on. Luckily the garden centre is less than five minutes away so still have plenty of time.

Ooh Piq, go you! I've got a good feeling about this new job. It's going to lead to great things.
I love the theory of wearing your riding gear to feel confident. I shan't try it myself though. You can see cellulite through my jods, and when I breathe out the zip comes down. Also the soles of my riding boots are really slippery so I fall over a lot.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Mrs Happy's post was funny wasn't it.
I feel a bit that way too with all the talk of hacking but if I threatened to ride a horse it'd probably say "Not on your Nellie Granny, it'd be better if I rode you" Poor horsey just thinking about it, I'd really have to hate the poor animal to threaten such a mean thing
