I'm a believer in threes, so two more bits of good luck coming your way I think!

Piq - think carefully about the offer for the weekend working and bear in mind they might still not pay you for this. do you want to be the person who they don't care about insulting for 2 days? You may well feel better about working a notice period, and I suppose you can always leave mid shift if they are rude, (thinking cap whirrs) oh actually scrap the previous bit of the post, do it and drag your toes, like Captain and go backwards then if he does bite, theatrically burst into tears and run out saying you are mean and beastly to me and I am going to see a solicitor. That will hopefully insert the fear of your chosen deity into him as you can claim harassment and unfair dismissal.
Best of British to you

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

O M G just caught up and am so pleased for you re job - at Pr@t, I know it doesn't solve everything but they seem to be an ethical company that treats their staff with respect. I go to one in the big city sometimes and though they are very busy everyone works as a team from what I observe. Also when I went in once late in the day the nice man gave me a free lemon cake :D. Hope this means things are looking up.

Nasty bully man will get his - karma is a coming his way. As others have said make sure you get the money you are owed as they sound like the sort to withhold wages.

The Bear was on form today re breakfast but tell him 5am is tooooo early. One of our previous much loved boys had a trick that always got my attention re early b'fast. He would stick out a claw on his front paw and hook it up my nostril if I was pretending to be asleep . Its so painful there is no ignoring it - naughty boy.

Good grief gally! He's far too young for me! I admit he's attractive but a lot younger than me!

How are you? Which boards are you hanging around, I think I might visit and pop out at you!

It used to be a lot easier when the processing site was on the same site as the jobcentres.. I can see how it will be counted as income because income based jsa is means tested and they look at all income coming into the house, however I think there is provision for the fact it is a mortgage payment and they would have to pay this anyway.. I think it will go to a decision make at the processing section and they will look at it then...I cannot believe you have been sent the same form five times... madness .. My husband was on ESA before he was medically retired and they stopped his claim for no reason.. fortunately we had money coming in. Other people might not have been so lucky.. So I do understand the frustration.

On another note you will have to sign off if you do 16 hrs... It is up to 16 hrs you can work whilst claiming jsa.. So you could do 15hrs and 55 mins but as soon as you hit the 16 hrs, you are automatically signed off...

Yes I know about the 16 hours limitation. It's a big jump from that to an income you can live on. I'll see what develops. There is selling of a lot of stuff around the house to supplement income at the moment. I put some gig tickets on e*bay this evening.

Oh I do hope so Piggy, it's hard trying to stay on a level when you are permanently worried. I haven't had a full nights sleep for months. I can see how easy it could be to spiral down and not get up again.

I will memorise everything for you tomorrow. I'm feeling a bit nervous about it!
