Lovely to see you, glad you like the Captain, it's really his diary. He's such a diva he won't write it himself! I'll be going to ride him later, after I've done my shift at the coffee shop, I hope he'll be kind to me...

A quick jump in, I need to get ready to go to the coffee shop.

The man arrived to mend the patio door this morning :T except I'd forgotten :o So had to shout out the window to ask him to wait while I threw some clothes on! He shouted back 'no need to bother on my account' :rotfl:That'll give the neighbours something to think about today :D

The door's fixed now and that means someone can turn the sun back on for me - please?

Be back later, coffee shop then the Captain!

Was watching the horseracing on PC last night and there was a horse called The Bear :D. Luckily I didn't bet on it as it refused to go in the stalls :rotfl:.

    Happy waiting :).

I survived an eight hour day with a fifteen minute break:eek: It's going to take a bit of getting used to. I found it much harder work than working down at the yard. I spent the day clearing tables and unstacking and re_stacking the dishwashers. Everything aches, hips, feet, shoulders...

But surprisingly, as I was just on trial, I got paid £47. I will be working a four hour shift tomorrow and Sunday and was asked if I would do another couple of shifts in the week. To which I've said yes. And I got a free lunch :TAnd I didn't eat any cake, Piq

a 15 minute break! Is that even legal?! £47 though is money in your pocket, but I bet you slept like a log. well done babe xxx

I'm afraid that would be the Captain, he would instantly start napping if he was asked to go into a stall. Very few horses go as fast as the Captain when it comes to running backwards...

Another day at the coffee shop done and a full day there tomorrow, been asked to cover the whole day.

It is a [STRIKE]dictatorship[/STRIKE] family run business, it's lucky it's so busy as I'd find it hard to keep my trap shut otherwise. The matriarch is mid seventies and her word is gospel. There is the middle-aged son, who thinks he is Johnny Depp but is in fact a cross between David Brent and R2D2. Then there is the daughter who fell into Pinot's left over fake tan and has a white blond peroxide brillo pad on her head.

The coffee shop is only really frequented by wrinklies. Most of them are adorable, but I got the two who insisted on sitting at the one non cleared table, completely ignoring the six or seven clean and empty tables surrounding. Then have the audacity to complain their table wasn't cleared....

I did get a free lunch again, it was very nice and tomorrow I'll get a free breakfast too.

Far too much wine drunk last night, so I said I hoped you had a good day in work tomorrow, without realising you were actually going back today. :o
