So poor I can't even pay attention

Oh my, poor Bear those antibiotics must be doing him no favours some nice natural yoghurt might help?
Whilst I confess i did giggle at the mental image you have conjured up I feel for you, what a disaster of a day. Surely the yard need to pay you more than that for the hours you do?
I have a dog currently chewing his paws , not sure why and he runs away from me to continue chewing and licking the paws ... Time for an investigate I think!
A combination of antibiotics and stress at going back to the vet in the car. He couldn't help it, but he could certainly do special effects with that tail of his! He doesn't like yogurt, I'm hoping as he doesn't have to go the vet again, his tummy will settle down.
Perhaps doglet has picked up a thorn or something?

I just had to let you know piq that your unfortunate story had me in fits of laughter.. You really should be writing comedy sketches. Apologies for finding amusement at your most awful day but it was the way you told it. hope bear gets better :-)0

You'll be pleased to know that the Bear has suffered no ill-effects from his unfortunate explosion and subsequent bath, apart from a rather puffball tail that no amount of frantic licking will smooth down:rotfl:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Another day here at Piqville and I need a kick up the *rse so I'm going to join the Mr Bloater thread and set myself some goals. I seem to be drowning under a sea of paper and need to get myself sorted out and get a routine going. I'm not going down the yard today so have the whole day to get clear. Not doing too badly so far!

Ooooh was a poo filled day for you yesterday - poor you and poor Bear. Am very impressed that you emerged unscathed from the cleaning up - bet the adrenalin kicked in as you waited to be lacerated .
Cats are generally very forgiving I find though we had one who could sulk big time. I stood on poor Mr A's paw the other day and he really yoweled. Then I was sitting with a cream donut on a plate about to devour it[no wonder he squeaked when I stood on him] and Mr A looked like he was about to jump on my lap. My lifting the plate out of the way coincided with him jumping up and the result was a very loud whack under his chin and he jumped off pronto. He spent quite a while with his back to me being indignant on his dog bed but I am by now forgiven .
I got this card for OH's b'day - from Mr A- I imagine this is what Bear's tail looks like just now? http://absolutecards.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=355&products_id=564

Hope you have a productive day with the paperwork - am trying to get lots of washing dried outside but it looks like it might rain0 -

It is horrific isn't it? You look at it all and just don't know where to start. I'm still suffering with paranoia about lingering smellsand walk around sniffing the walls!:rotfl:
I know exactly what Teapot means when she describes them sitting with their backs very pointedly turned to you. A cat likes you know when they are sulkingHowever, I'm not sure you're supposed to eat a cream donut without offering all the filling to Mr A!

I'm doing quite well on clearing paperwork and admin. I've applied for and got free wall and loft insulation, all fitted - no cost!!!! It will be fitted in July and subsequently save me money on next winter's heating bills. Now that was an hour well spent.
Applied for two jobs I'll never hear back from and spoken to an agency who made all the right noises about me being a perfect candidate, for what they never mentioned! Let's see if they come back with anything.
I was going to fill in a DWP form but I realised it is the same one that they have sent twice before - what's wrong with them....Not only that, it's the one asking about the mortgage insurance that I've already had agreed by the building society - sigh....
Paid £50 off the credit card. I've had a 0% transfer offer from them, it lasts until next May, so I will transfer some of the balance from my other card across.
I've had a good offer through from BT for broadband, but I'm terrified of losing my internet connection for more than five minutes. I've heard horror stories of people being without the internet for weeks when they've moved suppliers. Don't know what to do...
Cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed upstairs, will do downstairs later might even wield a duster
I like having a list to work from, I should do it all the time, I get more done!
