Happy Birthday Dustykitten :) Hope you had a lovely day.
  • Hello again all. Hope the Meadowhall meet goes well tomorrow. Had I been visiting DD1 I could have joined in the fun, but am too many miles away.

Got up at six this morning and Flew around so I could go out, knowing I could come back to a clean and tidy house. Which I did this evening, and it did look nice.

Left here just after 9am, got the bus down to the station, and caught the train to London. DD3 was also on the train heading to London from Cheltenham. Unfortunately both our journeys were disrupted by a signal failure somewhere east of Swindon. DD got in at 1145 but I was much later as my train reversed back out of Swindon and did a massive detour, pretty much a circle round Wilts and Berks, before getting to Reading, then on to Paddington. Then, adding insult to injury, our train had to wait outside the station for at least 10-15 mins for a platform!!

DD met me off my train, then we met up with DGD2 at the Hayward Gallery, where the three of us had a bit of lunch, then saw the David Shrigley exhibition - quite funny. So, a nice day in the end, but shorter than it should have been.

Should really have taken packed lunches, but it was nice to have a treat, even though just snacky things (soup, cheese toasties etc).

Doesn't Martin look smart today by the way?!

Just realised I have left it too late for more little people.:( Only nine & half year since had last one. Don't want one but very sad not ever to have another.
    Found out friend is pregnant.

Working on decluttering at the moment.

    (((hugs)))...

it must be hard to face 'endings' you aren't expeecting, if that's what it is...

I was so lucky (I now realise) as when the clock TICKED I got the boy, then the girl...and have never, ever, been broody since!

(So many people, to my surprise, assumed I was 'done' though, having had one of each...well two was always the plan...irrespective of gender!)
