I made tea...DD opted for tuna sandwich. Offered to make DS an omelette (though I say so myself I make excellent omelettes!) and I had bacon and cheese so it was a bacon one, topped with cheese and grilled. And he had bread and butter with it. And it looked so luscious I had one too and I did enjoy it! I feel like a little fat pig now :rotfl:
(My mouth was watering as I dished his up!)

Anyway, since Saturday I have been meaning to write a half term list. As it is the list is in my head so I'm cherry-picking what I feel like doing. This is not good enough. I shall construct a list imminently!

  • [Breathes sigh of relief]

DD1 spent the day chucking up. It sort of eased off, so we went out, then she chucked up again. So we came home. Via the chemists.

Fortunately, The Test was negative, which she was certain it would be, but seeing as I found out I was expecting 20 years ago  after doing the same for a fortnight, I kind of bought one, gave it to her and said 'I think you had better go and do this NOW'. So it's down to a bug lasting weeks or a reaction to her usual meds. I shall leave it up to her to deal with at the doctor's this week - why couldn't they just do a test there and then, rather than refuse to do anything until she had managed to get someone else who isn't going to go mad at her to pay for one? They even said she could try A&E. :wall: !!!!!!? Take up space and time in A&E because the GP doesn't want to help?

Anyhow, hopefully, she will be getting a good night's sleep ready for her interview tomorrow.

Minion, on the other hand, is actually being rather pleasant, considering she has AF for the first time. It's not like her :D

Once DD1 had been taken home by her SM, we attacked the mountain of chores.

Minion did the DW twice and washed up a few things
    I sorted clean washing
    Mucked out splats
    Cleaned showerroom floor
    Moved plants
    Cleaned loo
    Vacuumed kitchen
Picked up various bits off floor with Minion
    Emptied bins

Checked email - had brief (but nice) message from nice man :D

Had short text conversation with friend who has an urgent hospital appointment coming up.

Delivered giant telly to next door as the courier didn't leave her a card to say we had the best part of a grand's worth sitting in the hallway for her.

Got half the equipment working for tutorial - at least I can hear them, even if they can't hear me. So I shall have to type until I can afford a different type of mic setup. Actually, I just thought of a way around it - so that's not as bad as I thought.

Just going back downstairs to stick a WM load on and then I am going to languish in a deep, hot bubble bath eating strawberries.

    Now, the important things tomorrow are;

    DEaling with clean washing

    Clean upstairs bathroom

Looking for new colour scheme for my room. Can't afford flooring yet, but will be dark wood eventually. Considering getting extra thick, crisp white linen, but with very dark red throw/quilt cover. Or maybe black? I'm not a girly girl, IYSWIM. But it's definitely time to do something about it. After all, one never knows, does one?
