I've got some help today - so we have battled with the sawdust from the new floor, and put all the stuff from the spare room back in it (it is now full of boxes, and I have no idea how we'll ever fit furniture in it!).

I now need to spend time doing a bit more organising in the study. I also have some hand washing to do.

In preparation for the help, I did manage to get a LOT of hotspots cleared yesterday, and all sorts of junk put away in the kitchen.

Still have a cold, although I think it is getting better. And I'm sure that having a clean and tidy house will improve things too.

Tooch - if your mum is going to the US for a holiday she shouldn't need a visa, as there is a visa waiver scheme in place for the UK. Unless she is going for more than three months, she just needs an ESTA form https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

Today's list all done - got DD and DS involved too as DD did the vacuuming and DS helped with the dusting. Just been playing a game with DS whilst DD sews her badges on her Cub camp fire blanket.

    Have a good day all!

    I'm gutted!

I had hoped to make the Meadowhall meet but I've just checked my diary - tomorrow is my mammogram!

Hope you have a fab day ladies....

What a shame. It would have been lovely to meet you. However, I wouldn't mind another meet in York, later in the year. What do you think?

You could all go with CY for her mammogram instead :p
  • I'd love a meet in York later in the year - I'm usually here ( just avoid the time of the Olympics)

greenbee - I'd love to see the look on the face of the staff if we all turned up...:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks Greenbee, but unfortunately she was born in the republic of Ireland and so needs a visa!!1 After speaking to the travel agents and finding out that she could lose 50% of the cost of the holiday it looks like a trip to London for her!!

I have been checking my bank statements and seen a payment to an online shop that I haven't used since before Christmas.....after doing some research, I find out that they take nearly £20 a month subscription!!! Tamping, so havve emailed them to find out how to stop it!!!

Hve gutted DD's room and put most back together.the rest is up to her..........hhhmmmmmmm anyone else want some money...thats one for my Mum and one for me...........another one now and thats our 3.............!!!! Annoyed.com...........
