Don't have a go at me - have a go at the government for allowing it to happen - and I for one would be right behind you backing you up because it is obscene!!
But not so obscene that your conscience counsels against
your taking your "entitlement" or forces you to give the money to charity?
Pull the other one.....!0 -

Having already been accused of being the person above, I strongly object to this charade being carried on.
I have never been penniless nor have I ever had problems with SMI. In fact until recently I never knew what SMI was! I do now get it included in my PC award since I made a claim a month or so ago.
If you have nothing better to do with your life other than trying to wreck my thread, please go away.
I can categorically state that whoever you think I am you are wrong and very much mistaken.
As a matter of interest, others have said that this name goes back quite a while - how then seeing that you have only been a member for the same length of time as me - JANUARY 2012 - how do you know anything about it? I have never heard it before so where do you get your information from. I can't even find it when I search for it.
I do suspect that you are not who you say you are - maybe you have a history on this site that you don't want others to know about.
Or it could be the case that you are actually this person but are trying to throw everybody off you!!!0 -

Yes and you are but now you have over £16,000 you are no longer entitled to claim council tax benefit. I've given you hints on getting rid of some money so that you get "some" council tax benefit but you don't want to just get below £16,000 you want to go all the way and go under £10,000 so you get the maximum amount of benefit.
If he's entitled to guarantee pension credit he should get full council tax benefit no matter how much capital he has. The capital limit is usually £16000 but with this one exception.0 -
