I am using it to help me with my dreaded Limited WCA form then lurk here.
What you have experienced are the MSE Benefit Bashers who feel they are fit to act as Judge Jury and Executioner because you just happen to fall into a commonly known stereotype which you cannot help and is part of your life.
I also suggest you celebrate the stereotype so !!!! them!

Any attempt to help people which is MSE at it's best is subverted in this bizzare and unconstructive behaviour.
I am of the opinion that this is reportable Behaviour and MSE is not doing enough as a Editorial to stop it.

Why am I being expensive extravagant and !!!!less by paying Benefits and Work £9.95.
IT IS AN INDEPENDENT SITE FUNDED BY SUBSCRIPTIONS HENCE IT'S INDEPENDENCE. IF IT'S INDEPENDENCE MEANS IT IS BETTER ABLE TO HELP THEN EVERYONE APPLYING FOR BENEFITS IS BEST TO JOIN.
I ALSO BELIEVE CAB ETC ARE GOVERNMENT FUNDED HENCE'FREE'ADVICE.
I WOULD RATHER HAVE INDEPENDENT ADVICE AND FUND THE SITE, MUCH BETTER POSITION!

INDEPENDENT Advice has it over Government and State funded Advice because the Politicians have got it in for legally entitled Benefits Claimants in order to pay off their Banker pals.

It is well known that there are a variety of Agencies that are to help people get what they are entitled too : Welfare Rights.
Poor thinking on your part that reveals an astonishing lack of intellectual depth and lack of independent thinking to reach that conclusion. Is that the Daily Hate in your hand?

As I said before why pay for a service available free elsewhere. I think the OP has all the advice needed in the thread and I can't see any examples of "benefit bashing' anywhere.

OP I don't know if you saw my earlier post I spoke to my friends Daughter who was pregnant at 16 whilst her Mother was overseas with her Forces Husband meaning she had to leave School accommodation and move in with boyfriends parents. She was able to claim Income Support at 28 weeks then healthy start vouchers and Sure Start Grant. She now lives in a beautiful brand new Housing Assosiation Flat gets rent and ct paid, back at College and trying hard to make something of her life. She finds it very hard, especially when now aged 18 see's all the other students partying and enjoying freedom, like she should be, but none of us would change the baby for the world.

I am relying and I recommend OP relies on EXPERT HELP with MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE, It is not for nothing that many Professional Bodies are Members as well. To help people get what they are legally entitled too.
The site operates on expert legal advice too.
After the dazzling performance of this Benefit Bashers on this thread I am so glad I have joined and think it is money well spent.

I think it's about time MSE had Welfare Rights Representation here. Will suggest it to Editorial.
Come to think of it too Disability Representation as well to stop the abuse of disabled here. There is insufficient structure to protect the vulnerable here meaning people here are less likely to post, more likely to lurk, more likely to leave and not be noticed, less likely to speak out and defend themselves as I try to do here.
I do wonder the line between speaking out and lurking and wonder if I should lurk more.
Complaining a good idea.
