Flutterbyuk, I used to leave my stuff until the last minute at Uni as well, but I found I did a lot of planning in my head leading up to sitting down and writing so actually I had been working on it before hand iykwim.

Julie - think you are kinda right there! I spoke to my tutor today and he said I'm on the right track and just need to actually write it :rotfl:. feel better now.

Had a good time at uni, the ladies there are so lovely, we all boost each other. Made a quick stirfry for tea and am now going to do some more uni work whilst I'm on a roll!

Miffy thank you so much for your offer of a crate, I do love the community feel of posters on MSE. We have a crate (loaned so :money:) but thank you so muchnfor offering xxx

As you can see I am not at tap :o had a banging headache after forest schools (yes sadly the "mercury" was above freezing, probably only just) so we all got togged up and as long as you kept moving it wasn't too bad. However searching in the woods for jigsaw pieces gave me a headache and eye strain :o then had parents eve so have decided not to bother tonight :o

Wrap up warm peeps its cold out there

Bitsy bore away puppies are such fun. We have a black labrador called Jack Daniels DD named him after her fave drink. He's her dog really but she's at Uni so we have to look after him. Does me good walking him every morning in the dark and cold. Enjoy your puppy the kids will love her and labs love kids.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • I also won' be bored, I promise. And puppies don't whinge, so you should be permanently enamoured, Ms Beans. :p

Bitsy: You remind me of a woman I met whose boys used to go to school with mine. I asked if she had grandchildren. 'No,' she said a bit wistfully, then brightened up, 'But we do have grandpuppies.' and proceeded to show me the photos. Can't wait for Saturday. This is nearly as bad as waiting for Eliza to show up.

bargainbird: I have to admit that I have spent longer buying a pair of shoes! My brother inherited the 'worry' gene in our family. I tend to be laid back, (lazy) casual, (careless) and quickly decisive,(impetuous) when big decisions have to be made. They usually work out.

:rotfl::rotfl: ladies you do make me smile. Considering I shall be trapped at home trying to crack house training puppy might be all I have to talk about ;)
Mind you I have had requests from the kids old pre school, DDs nursery class and off DSs class teacher to take puppy in to show to the children. If this carries on I may have to start charging ;)

Monnagran I love the idea of grand puppies. If I am being honest aside from hopefully helping DS with his bedtime/nighttime issues there are no more babies on the horizon for me so this is my fur baby :D:D

Evening all, hope everyone is doing OK tonight.

Welcome to the newbies, and hugs to those feeling under the weather, or just in need of a hug..

JackieO, so glad you had a lovely birthday, its well you might be spoilt by your family and friends, you are a very special lady.
JackieG, glad to see you posting, I too, missed your posts. Good luck with the redundancy...
Sunflower, hope everything went OK today
Bitsy, dying to see your furbaby, very exciting for you and the kids, I wouldn't be without mine, although they have well grown out of puppy stage..
Beth, you need to slow down and take care, you are certainly putting me to shame..
Monnagran, lol at you buying a house, just like that, my OH once bought a house on our credit card..no joking!
Thats it, I cannot remember what I just read now...so apologies to everyone I have forgotten.
Not much happening here, home late this evening, car still in garage, hope to have it back by the weekend. Homemade pizza and YS coleslaw for tea, As my OH refers pizza with a very thin crust I use Tesco value tortilla wraps, cheap, easy ad work very well. LO chopped veggies in container in fridge for toastie wrap for lunch tomorrow. WM on, and I am sitting wrapped in slanket with laptop, should be colouring my hair but think I will subject my colleagues to the very fetching badger look for another day...
