Thanks Happy.
Have been using up food from the cupboards - cooked the huge ham I bought for Christmas with beans and jacket pots so will do some sort of pasta with some left overs and freeze the rest in meal sized chunks. Made a trifle using a trifle mix out of cupboard. Not exactly a diet friendly day but a MSE one. Have transferred some money around but will need to find done more to get us through to pay day. Only need fresh food though milk bread veg etc to get us through the month.
Went out earlier and had to walk past cost! Twice. Didn't go in at all
Oh well, the kitchen won't clean itself. Have a good weekend xNumber of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
Well, with fingers and toes crossed I applied for a 0% interest cc and got accepted !!!!!! With a 10k limit. That will allow me to transfer all 4 ccs, all of which were around 18-20%. That should make a big dent and allow me to start to focus on the ods that are at 22%.Number of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0

And have remembered that oh's car loan finishes in April. That will mean an extra £350. Finally feel like we are going in the right direction! Was convinced we wouldn't get that card.Number of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0

Well, swings and roundabouts here. Gas, electric and water dds all increased:(
1 last payment due on the car loan and have transferred all except half of 1 to my new 0% card. Hopefully dh will now get a 0% offer on his existing cap 1 to transfer the rest.
If that happens we can pay just over the minimum for those and tackle the od.
The halifax savings account we set up last year for christmas/ birthdays worked really well last year with nothing put on the cc.
I've got one set up with Santander so the next step is to do the same for the cars. Paid one set of car tax with one of the council tax free months so it feels like a good time to start it.
Would also like to get my head around using a spreadsheet or YNAB so I can track our money more closely.

Last car payment gone
although it was £150 more than usual. Not had a 0% interest offer for dh on the card I cleared but there's still time. Feel like there's light at the end of the tunnel now a bit. Dd dental work is a third of the way through £1000 paid off. Slowly chipping away
