Hi,

My partner is thinking of getting a giffgaff simcard because she watches a lot of tv on her new iphone. The unlimited internet seems perfect for her. Does anyone have a good or bad experience with giffgaff. Is the internet fast enought to stream TV?

Just get your PAC code from O2 and give it it to GiffGaff once you have an activated giffgaff account.

Going with a company which do not have a customer service, by email only is bit too much got me.
What if something go gone with number porting, sim do not work etc. you need to wait days for the response.

All 3 of my children are with them, we've had no probs whatsoever. Number port was done within hours, everything works exactly as it should.

They all have friends on GG which makes a difference too, to put it into perspective DS2 has a £10 goody bag, which gives unlimited texts and 250 mins plus free mins to other Giffgaff numbers, last month he used 120 mins to non-GG numbers and 520 to GG numbers, that's alot of minutes for £10. DS1 also has a £10 goodybag and sent over 6500 texts last month. Unlimited really does seem to mean unlimited!

That's what she is on now I think. she watches youtube on the way to work. In less than a week she used over 600mb. That's why we are interested in giffgaff.

So far doesn't sound like anyone had any issues. Thanks for all your replies so far.

Maybe but if you need something resolved on their back end the forum or facebook cannot help.

They had a lot of issues at Xmas, with people losing numbers through failed pacs for a few weeks. I was going to move to them but as they still have not replied to my email in November I decided against it.

If it goes well they are good and cheap, if there are issues it can take a while to sort out.
