Parkshield again!

  • Thanks for the replies.

It was a bar provided to chain your bike to off the road.
Hence why we decided to park there.
There were 3 of us and we've all had letters. Although mine are coming through well in advance of theirs
  • Hi

Just a follow up to say thanks for all the advice on here which i followed to the letter (well a series of letters actually) and after 3-4 months good old Parkshield gave up!

By way of thanks I have scanned the letters so that others may see what is likely to come thorough their letter boxes as I have noticed there seems to be a lack of letter chains about Parkshield Ltd (Private Car Parking Enforcement Agency).

Have struggled to post links as I am a newish member but if anyone can help to get the scan images up here that would be great

    Thanks again

If you post them up on photobucket.com then remove the http//www part of the link you'll be able to do it. Thanks

I've added Parkshield to the pre-October letter chains thread, thanks for uploading these, witchdokta, much appreciated
  • Just received a Parking Charge Notice, stating "Pay and Display Expired" at Carpark in Birmingham and need to send the £100. But I and my car was at home in Swindon, I've never even been to Birmingham. This seems to be bordering on criminality, and although have no intention of paying, wonder if there would be any point in seeking legal advice?

    Start your own Thread, bc.
This sounds interesting on first blush and the experts will be along with fuller guidance shortly.
The usual complaints to bpa and dvlc probably apply, with heavier measures.
If it was a pay and display machine requiring reg. no. entry, this may have been the source of error.
    Do the vehicle particulars match?

How on earth did you find this thread and actually READ it even though it's from 2012, and then not click on the breadcrumb trail at the top to read current threads?

This one is from 2012 and the advice changed in 2013. You appear to have missed the entire current forum so far, for the sake of the one click mentioned in my signature below (the bit in blue/black). Please click at the end of the breadcrumb trail (small blue link) at the top here, and then read the NEWBIES FAQs thread at the top of this same forum.
