    And by the way DO come back on here and report your success, sometimes people are doubters because too few come back on and confirm- "Yes I ignored them and they went away."

    Hi guys, I'm new to this site and I understand I may be going over old ground but just looking for some reassurance.

    I received a cctv parking ticket from parkshield after parking my bike in Bristol city centre. I chose to appeal against this letter because the Bristol council website states that motorcycles and scooters have unrestricted parking right in the city etc etc.

    They replied telling me that my appeal had be denied.
    I ignored this letter and have since received 4 letters.

    The third stating if I don't pay they will take me to court.

    I have received the 4th today and it's from a solicitors stating its letter before claim threatening baliffs, affects to my credit rating etc.

    Also I've researched the solicitors and question and it says they're a defeat lawyer, not a prosecution lawyer.

    Any advice?

    I assume this is private land and nothing to do with the council.
