Leeds BS Diamond Saver 2.65% AER variable including 0.6% bonus until 31 May 2013. Open in branch, post or online. Operate in branch or by post. Unlimited penalty free withdrawals. Deposits must come from outside Leeds BS.

Note however that it is a limited issue and that in the (near?) future - it may not be possible to open one of these accounts AND it may not be possible to add additional funds to an account that has already been opened.

Close Brothers 3-year bond. Min. £10k. No access. 4.00% AER. Interest paid away annually to nominated account not compounded.

According to MoneyFacts the only higher rate for a similar bond is 4.10% for State Bank Of India's 1000-Day bond and that requires opening another SBofI account.

The Monmouthshire BS has got a variable saver paying 4%, inc. a 2% bonus paid on anniversary, pay in up to £1000 per month, also the N&P has 4% Regular Saver, pay in up to £250 per month, but neither of these has been mentioned on this forum or the MSE site, I can't be the only person who has seen them?

No, a few of us will have seen them as they are mentioned in the Best Regular Saving Thread
Monmouthshire BS Flexible Saver (Issue 2)

    Interest rate: 4% gross p.a. from 12th March 2012
    Monthly payment: £0-£,1000
Miss any payments: Yes, as many as you like
Penalty-free withdrawals: Four withdrawals per account year (ending 31st March)
    Age of applicant:
    Not stated
How to open account: Branch, online or post
Special conditions: You can manage this account online using their My Accounts service. If you want to make online withdrawals then make sure you link a bank account for withdrawals in advance as setting this up involves them sending you a form to sign and badger09 reports that it took 9 days to set up for them.
    and
Norwich and Peterborough BS Regular Saver Account

Interest rate: 4% gross p.a. fixed (probably! see below)
    Monthly payment: £1-£250
    Miss any payments: No
Penalty-free withdrawals: Yes, one per account year.
    Age of applicant: Not stated
How to open account: Branch, telephone or post; can be operated online but cannot be opened online
Special conditions: The interest rate drops after the first 12 months. It is unclear if the bonus interest is fixed - the underlying 2.5% interest is definitely fixed for the first 12 months. The product information indicates that the interest rate is fixed for the first 12 months although it also states that "N&P reserves the right to vary the bonus rate at any time."
