Close Brothers just launched 2 Year Fixed Rate min £10k 3.75%

As an existing account holder, I'm reinvesting maturing funds in a 2 year Fixed Rate account @ 3.8% :T

Good rate but the application form needs to be downloaded, printed, (4 pages), filled in, posted with a photocopied nominated bank statement and then it could take up to 10 days.
You either send a cheque or make an electronic payment if you manage to get the account.

Haven`t Close Bros. heard of internet applications??

As feared, I have just been notified that the interest rate for existing customers will be dropping to 2.25% on 22nd October.

In line with the current trend - Principality have closed their e-saver issue 6 (2.85%) to new investors, and have introduced issue 7 paying 2.65%.
