Anyone tried to claim from Everyday Loans?

I was told by the manager that 98%of claims get rejected0

I will do it! I have no clue where to start. I guess I should wait until I get the official letter off Everyday. Then, do I ask them for copies of paperwork from all my loans? Or, am I just going for the one in front of me?0

Ask them for copies of your other loans as you are passing this to the FOS tell them if they cannot do this then you will put it to FOS without this info, let them know that you would not have taken this PPI regardless of what the salesperson has put regarding the way you took this, you had cover in place and you would not have taken extra cover at cost as you were adequately covered.
They will probably come back with some "smart remark" tell them you were talked into this cover given the reasons above and you will let FOS decide the outcome of this complaint.
Ring and ask for the info and tell them what i put here and see what they come back with.0 -
Thanks, I'll just wait to get the official letter off them and take in from there. It's been two weeks in the post so, god knows when that will be.0

Ok, if you need any more help just ask.0

Hi,
I currently have a claim going through with Everyday Loans at the moment.
I think my 8 weeks is up on the 22 May 2012, so It would be great to hear what response people are getting.
I keep chasing them and just told they are still investigating!
My claim is on the grounds that I was told it would improve my chances of getting the loan if I took PPI out!!0 -

Everyday loans PPI is actually good really good value for money. It can be very hard to prove what was said at the time of the sale because human memory is far from perfect! So with your reasons, its very unlikely that your complaint would be upheld.
To win a complaint I think there'd have to be some reason why the PPI was wrong for you (for example if you had a pre-existing medical condition that they didn't ask you about?).0 -
If it is any help, my partner is a ward manager too, having worked from the bottom of the nursing ladder upwards. So respect to you for your hard work and all you do for society. You do a wonderful job.
However, he is also totally blind and downright stupid when it comes to managing his / our finances and will believe anything which is said to him. It does not matter how much research we do together and what we decide, once a salesperson is in front of him, all common sense goes out the window.
We've almost split up over it before now. I will say in his defence that he takes responsibility for what he chooses to sign for, even if it was what the salesperson suggested. I don't blame the salespeople, I blame the likes of my partner who go out working all hours that God sends to earn a half-decent salary, then commits to goodness only knows what at the drop of a hat, all because a total stranger (and one who has targets to meet and bonus to earn at that) said so. It is the likes of him who continue to fuel these problems by not thinking about how serious what they are doing actually is.
Sorry for the rant, but he's done something in recent years which has cost us dearly and we're working hard to put it right.0 -
I'm away at the moment but when I get back I will look more thoroughly and the novel they went me. It looks like the ppi is split up into four parts and they said I agreed to the unemployment part (and it emphasises on the form that I stated I had a long term job and was not worried about unemployment) and the part relating to death so that my family could benefit. I haven't got a family!!!!0
