Ive had two loans with them in the past and they were very much like Welcome Finance. More or less told me that if I didnt take the PPI I wouldnt get the loan. Has anyone dealt with them before?
Thank you so much in advance.

I was told by the manager that 98%of claims get rejected because their paper work is "so tight". I did receive a letter today acknowledging my claim and that they would get back to me in eight weeks. It's a start I suppose!0

Wait for the 8 weeks, when they send you the response, post on here if it is a rejection,i will tell you what to do next.
Then we will see how "tight his paperwork is" :rotfl:
Paperwork only shows the ppi that you ticked the box and signed for,it does not account for a salesperson getting you to buy this,or the patter (lies) that he gives you to make you sign.
Have i answered this post before?"tight paperwork" rings a bell :rotfl:

I rang up the office today and she said that they had requested my files and that I will hear in the next two weeks. She also said that the paper work is always spot on. I reminded her that I have been in the NHS for the past twenty years and she said as long as its on the forms it will go from there.0

Fingers crossed.0

I never got a letter. They said that they sent it two weeks ago. Of, course it's a no. She said their documentation proves that I signed for it. I am disappointed to be honest. It was three consecutive loans each time I have been in the same job from being a newly qualified nurse to now being the ward manager. He knew this every time. And definitely told me ppi would be a good idea for me. Should I just leave it then?0

If you paid these loans each month and the PPI was included in that monthly payment and you repaid one loan with the next one, write back to them and reject the reasons they gave for not upholding your complaint and tell them that each of these loans were consolidated into the next one and after rebate of the PPI the remaining PPI carried over onto the next loan and so on.
This PPI was front loaded, it was put on the loan amount and paid back to term end with interest, this was not fully explained to you as had you known the true cost of this PPI then you would not have taken it, ask them to look at your claim again and reconsider or you will pass this to FOS to look at.0 -
I've only got the last loan agreement. I will go and find it. The first two loans didnt run into each other. They were a year appart. The next two did though.0

Tell them about the other loans you had that did run back to back that repaid any of the others, these will be front loaded, put you a bet on it!!.
If they are then they won't like it if you threaten FOS as these are mostly upheld by the FOS for the front loaded part.0 -
I've got the last one in front of me. The agreement has about five different booklets on ppi with it.
What do you reckon (this isn't my real name btw) on the agreement with regards to sickness benefit "Samantha strongly advises us that she will get full pay from worK" this is what he recommends
"I have recommended life so in the event of her death the loan could be paid off without using the 30k lump sum she would get from work. Also accident and sickness even though Samantha would get full pay she could then use this to pay her rent" !!!!!!??? I must have been stupid but, I signed it. It carries on "No unemployment as Samantha is a senior nurse and does not feel that her job is under any threat at all" so, why did I agree to it? I must be stupid.0
