They really do tell fibs. I've just rang the place I went to and he told me he had just got an email requesting my details. Head office told me this morning that they have done all their investigating and the answer is no. Anyway, he did say none of their ppi us ever front loaded. They are just good salesmen, I guess.:(0

I've got the last one in front of me. The agreement has about five different booklets on ppi with it.
What do you reckon (this isn't my real name btw) on the agreement with regards to sickness benefit "Samantha strongly advises us that she will get full pay from worK" this is what he recommends
"I have recommended life so in the event of her death the loan could be paid off without using the 30k lump sum she would get from work. Also accident and sickness even though Samantha would get full pay she could then use this to pay her rent" !!!!!!??? I must have been stupid but, I signed it. It carries on "No unemployment as Samantha is a senior nurse and does not feel that her job is under any threat at all" so, why did I agree to it? I must be stupid.
Was he on acid when he sold you this PPI? :rotfl::rotfl:Also accident and sickness even though Samantha would get full pay she could then use this to pay her rent"
If you got full pay when off work, you could pay what you paid when in work the same as you do now!! and that includes rent:rotfl: also why would you take "extra" insurance and pay for this to cover accident and sickness when you get cover from work for free and only have the same 12 months of cover?."I have recommended life so in the event of her death the loan could be paid off without using the 30k lump sum she would get from work.
So you could spend the £30K on what you wanted to ???? from the grave :rotfl:
They are not daft are they, no wonder they said the paperwork was water tight, it is not up to him how your death benefit from work was to be distributed, tell them this and about the accident and sickness, what a joke this is :mad::mad:
Does it show the PPI amount and the interest on the agreement?, this is what we need to know.0 -

DEFFO !!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So he "sold" this to you as a savings plan, so you would have full pay from work and the loan would be paid by the PPI and you would have extra money to look forward to :cool::cool::cool::p0 -

How did you pay this PPI that determines if it was front loaded or not, not because someone says it is not.0 -
I must've been on acid to agree to it!!:rotfl:
It says the total amount of the premium is £1,261.21 and that this will be on average £35.03 per month.0 -
So you paid this as a payment on it's own and not with the loan?.0

I doubt it as the heading of the letter is Repayment protection insurance -monthly premium.
Thanks for all your help, anyway. They really are loan sharks, with an office.0 -
If I were you I would take this to FOS, put a copy of the agreement with the letter they sent and ask why you would take Insurance to cover you when you already had cover in place for the same events, pick out what i said before and see what FOS come back with, they may not uphold but at least you gave it a try.
When I was sold PPI once, after I had said no thank you, the guy who was doing the loan said that if I died my Husband would be liable for my debts !!! i now know this not to be true as the loan was in my name only, the bank told me to get lost and I took this to FOS who upheld, even though it was hearsay, so give it a go, it will only cost you a stamp, you have nothing to lose, did the guy who sold you your PPI say anything that may have made you think about taking this PPI? if he did then put it down.0 -
:D Please do this
I would love it if you "won":cool: then you can phone the company and tell them to get stuffed
:D
Why would take cover you already had in place had it not been made to look good for you??.0
