OVo is hardly 'unknown', and it has a good reputation among the independents. Around 60,000 customers, so one of the larger small fry.
They came top in the recent Which survey for CS; NPower came last.

Hi
We are also on E-On Fixonline 9 ending at end of this month.
My best deal is coming up with First Utility Isave Fixed Pice April 2013.
I am thinking of switching through Quidco for £50, I believe the Isave Fixed has no penalty for leaving early, so if prices come down I can at least move before 12 months are up.
What does anyone else think of this?
Thank you

Suggest you check out FU posts on this board first. Lots of CS issues, and rated the worst provider outside of the Big Six in the recent Which survey. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

EON SAID TO ME THIS Monday morning that they are bringing out tomorrow a new online plan to compete(Saveonline 12), now that the Eon Fixed Online 9 is finishing
So check Tuesday to see if they are true to their word
Tuesday: Offered me an old plan "saveonline 9" fixed for 12 months
Gas unit rates: 6.859p per kWh & 2.969p per kWh above 2680 kWh p.a.
Electricity unit rates: 20.700p per kWh & 9.700p per kWh above 900 kWh p.a.
8% discount also but no discount on final bill
But better than the competition-I took it0 -

Can I ask, when the unit prices are quoted with E ON, are the discounts already applied or does the "6% discount for paying by fixed monthly direct debit and a 2% dual Fuel Direct Debit discount" come off after?
Thanks
Pablo
Hi Pablo
Sorry for the late reply.
Prices quoted on our website are without the discount. They do include VAT though.
Discounts are applied before the VAT.

Well done getting that offer from them, it is around 10% less than I am paying on Saveonline 11.0 -
Oh, oh, man the call centre. Who would stay on 10 and 11 when they can be on 9.0

"saveonline 9" saves me £143 in a year more than the NPower Gofix10 the cheapest rate I had started changing too, plus the loss of discount on last quarter (£44 in my case)
Hope this saves someone else £190 approxOh, oh, man the call centre. Who would stay on 10 and 11 when they can be on 9.
Is not this an electricity forum about helping others save money by information?0
