That'll be from the DS range. Probably DS Original. Gorgeous, good luck finding one that you don't need to take out a second mortgage to buy though0 -

I've never had nails to put polish on before, was thinking about getting gellish manicure or shellac for going on holiday on both fingers & toes as usually always have extensions on hands but don't need them this year....
What's the thoughts ladies??
Gellish, shellac etc are probably a great idea if you're happy to have the same colour on for a couple of weeks. If, like the rest of us, you're bored of a colour after a couple of days then you're probably best off spending your money on some fab polishes.0 -
I have to agree, take some with you! When everyone else is going nutz, take time to relax by the poolside, drink in hand, and polish freely
I hate buying dear ones, but by being a bit savvy, I've managed to get some dearer polishes on the cheap. But, whilst some of the cheap ones are pretty awful, not every one is. Asda £1 polishes, quite pleased with those, same as MUA (£1 in superdrug) and my fav currently is Kiko. However. That is an online minimum £25 order value, but some of their shades are £1.50, with the "special" ones a bit dearer so you'd get a nice stock in.
I'm currently sporting obscene yellow, with orange crackle ^_^ Both Kiko, and both were a dream to use/apply. Their magnetics are lovely (but you need to buy a magnet from them too, if you don't have any/want specific patterns) and of course, when boots does the £5 no 7 vouchers, that makes their nail varnish really quite cheap. Then you shop around for the brand shop names for 3 for 2, or BOGOF, special offers like buy £5 get a certain polish free.
Currently if you want to try MUA, there's a minimum spend of a tenner online, get 25% free, a free postage. see a few pages back for details.
Rebuilding a supply cannot be cheaper now, if you shop around, watch deals, and read this thread for great polishes, and ideas.
*Just got my MUA order today, and included is a Green Glittery Crackle. I cannot wait to try that out. Half tempted to crackle the green on top of my orange crackle just for an even more obscene look!
Having one of those days of where the sun doesn't shine, so I will feel bright and sunny by all methods.0 -

OhMyGosh starrystarry, the blue and purple in that collection are so pretty they make you want to weep!
Thank you for your reply to my plea for help, Heartbreak_Star. I'm sure that you are right, it is just patience and practice but I am just so impatient to get lovely looking nails. Saying that, I played about with the idea of pinstriped nails yesterday and they worked out really well:j0 -
Is it me, or do those duochromes seem to show brush strokes a lot? Can't tell if it's the look, or the technique?
They're pretty nice, but I hate having my nails showing brush strokes.0 -
They do show the brushstrokes, any shimmery polishes seem to. I'm not bothered about brushstrokes, can live with them.0

Hi,
Has anyone tried the Espirit nail polish range? I picked up 213 smoothie rose from Poundland earlier this week and will be trying it out but wondered if there were any views here on them?
I figured, If it doesn't work out, I've only lost a pound! I have made more expensive mistakes in the past...
