  • Well I'm cross. I painted my nails last night in readiness for putting some union jack water decals on this morning. They will not stick for some reason! Any ideas why? xx

My union jack nails are a disaster :rotfl: I got my sister to do my right hand because I couldn't keep my lines straight and her 'union jacks' look more like pink starfish! :D

One tip I picked up recently for gradient nails is to add your topcoat as soon as you've finished dabbing, it helps to blend the colours better.

I got some fimo flowers recently, not tried them yet.

I nearly ruined my nails with fimo flowers. I just picked and pulled and bit at them till they came off. If anyone wants a wheel I have only used once or twice you are glad to it.

    They are dangerous to me.

Well I spent a couple of hours doing mine this afternoon. Have reasonably pleased with the results seeing as this is the first time I've really done anything quite detailed. I think the only thing I would do different (apart from a steadier hand) is use a darker blue (which means I need to buy a darker blue. lol.
