I've had the whole nail polish peeling issue as well ... It's as if the polish isnt sticking ... I tried very very slightly buffing my nail ... Literally just so that it's not all smooth ... It works sometimes not others ... Fingers crossed theres a better more permanant solution

    Absolutely not!

I have a notebook that explains what all the colours on the colour wheels I've painted are, with all the various odd topcoats.
Most wheels have 5 nails each of 4 colours with a plain one then a variety of holos and glitters on the remaining 4 of each IYSWIM.
    Now THAT is sad!

I am with you in the "sad" club, I have a notebook, entries by make and separately by colour, with little samples, and quite a few colour wheels too.:D

Yep formula 2 ... I dont oil my nails at the same time as putting the nailtiques on so it's doubtful it's the oil ( although anything is poss)

I'm having trouble with the nailtiques peeling off too, although I have started swimming so it could be that. No soreness, just that it won't stay on my nails.

Ladies with peeling polish, it's usually because your nails are oily.

Try washing your hands with soap & scrubbing your nails with a nail brush. Then dry them, buff them lightly (to make them a little less smooth) then put on a layer of nail polish remover and wait for it to dry, this should take away some of the oilyness. Then base coat, polish, top coat... :D Also try waiting longer between coats to allow each coat to dry completely

I've never had this problem with Nailtiques but maybe that's because I only use it as a base coat, so only one coat at a time. When I first started using it I did layer it on, a coat each day for the first couple of weeks, and I don't remember having any peeling problems. Maybe you could try just using it as a base coat under colour now, that's how you'd use it long term anyway.

The other thing that cause peeling is if you have a warm bath or shower within a few hours of painting your nails.

It happens to me; if i bath or to a lesser extent shower within about four hours of painting my nails the polish lifts and peels off like a sticker.

Well what an !!!! I have been today!!! Stubbed my little toe and have broken it!!! My dad took me to a & e and wouldn't give me half hour to bling my toenails up a bit. lol.

So I guess that tonight the toenails need sorting out as I can't get enclosed shoes on (just what you need in this weather).

Hmmmmm now what to do!! lol

You have my sympathy, I broke my little toe a few years ago and I've never felt pain like it. I kicked a radiator pipe, the pain shot up my leg, my knees gave way and I fell in a crumpled heap on the floor. I couldn't get shoes on at all for a couple of days, then I had to wear trainers for a week or so. Have they strapped it up?

Yes they have starry. They used a pen (of all things) to put between my two toes and pulled the little one back straight. That hurt just a bit!!!!

Its strapped up now and has to be for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Have to say that stubbing your toe in general has got to be one of the worst. it always hurts so much (and thats without breaking it).

Do you have any problems with your toe now at all?
