I used the rimmel perfect plum I got in the market bonanza with some old glitter stuff I found in the nail box. Also borrowed heavily from the gorgeous blue nails with silver strips posted a few pages back :D

Borrow away pulliptears, I borrowed the idea from another blog in the first place. I'm not very creative so I get most of my ideas from other people.

They look fab, you musn't remove them already! I've just taken my blue ones off. Was pleasantly surprised by how long the striping tape lasted, it didn't lift at all and it's been on since Sunday.

For the Jubilee weekend I might paint my nails as union jacks. I usually just paint the thumb nail as union jack. I use an old lip brush to paint the detail on. Right now I have a black with red glitter on one side, with a gradient from block glitter to the black, with silver tips.

I love doing a union jack with black, silver and red glitter, it looks pretty cool.

That sounds fab, if you do, please post a piccy!

Wow can I join in? I LOVE painting my nails... I've got over 70 nailvarnishes and yet haven't tried stamping or anything as clever as a foil!

Although you've all cost me money - I've bought the color club holographic one from eBay for £9.99... This is following my pound land trip where I got 3 max factor colours and my nails inc haul from qvc... Oh and my buys power minis (opi) and my Rimmel eBay bargain! Most of which reading back, I see you ladies have seen too!

I will pull together some nailvarnish-stash-!!!!!! which make my friends green - id love to know what you would do with it all - I never mix them up or layer them!

Excellent first post, you're clearly an addict! It's fab to meet you :j

I have just ordered from nailsupplies.us

Had 2 Gelish, 7 china glaze for £48 delivered.

The Gelish are usually £15 each, so I think I got a good deal.

I cannot wait for my USA trip in the summer - I've got a china glaze obsession... Which the trip will fulfill!

Well if we are going nail !!!!!!....lol

    Screenshot2012-05-31at184432.png

Thats just my 'bits box' where I keep my nail art pens and odd varnishes I use for painting. It's massively outgrown the box to the point where I'm going to have to go shopping for some sort of drawers on wheels at the weekend.

I use a lot of acrylic paint as well so thats all in another box. I find it easier to finely paint a lot of designs onto a base coat using acrylic so there is dozens of tubes of that as well along with various brushes.

Then add to that the box of 'accents' with foil, sparkly bits, offcuts of lace etc.

Then the box of 'proper polish'.

Its a bit OTT really :D

Yummy! !!!!!! it is then ;) I'll take a piccy of all my polishes soon and post them up - I've scoured ebay and got some really unusual colours.

Walmart and Target are excellent for nail polishes, I'm just gutted my friend doesn't live in the US anymore. Germany just doesn't have the same obsession with stuff like that. Some people can be pretty selfish ;) :rotfl: Just kidding, I love her really!!!

Lol! Having lived in Germany I agree.

Where and what else nailvarnish wise is cheaper in the states?

Something more subtle for me tonight, after wearing mega bling all week. Rimmel Camouflage Chic with some stamping from the M66 plate I got this week...

This is another one shamelessly plagiarised from the Polished Perfectionist and another one not a patch on the original (http://the-polished-perfectionist.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/catrice-enter-undergrowth-konad-m66.html). How does she do it? Is she human? Still, I'm fairly happy with it.

  • So as my water decals didn't turn up in time for the party, I decided to give freehand a go. Not too bad actually I think! Could have been worse!
