Good stuff isn't it, Seche Vite :T

It bonds all the layers of polish, undercoat, glitter overlays etc together. It is totally different to any other topcoat imho.

I've just had a look at the Hunger Games polishes, Luxe & Lush reminds me of Color Club's Covered in Diamonds. .

I have covered in diamonds and its really stunning. Layered over dark emeral green and it its gorgeous.

I don't like seche tho - i find it too awkard to point on for some reason and it thickens and the brush is all wrong. lol.

Mt quick dry top coat of choice is Lumos High Speed Top Coat. More fluid than SV and in my hands applies better.
Dry time is as lightening fast and i get no shrinkage.
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler

Have you seen the QVC deal on OPI £23.48 for 6 colours & a polish remover. I wont get it as I really don't need any more polishes, only thing's I want are a good HOLO and a glittery purple, so trying to be good.

I went for this and ordered it when it appeared online on Sunday. It has arrived today and the blue is gorgeous. I have co-bought it with a friend at work who is having the coral and pink colours whilst I'm keeping the other sheer colours. They are lovely too.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • There is so much I want however I'm beyond skint. Had to withdraw from the savings today to cover my overdraft. Not good when I have a polish habit to feed!

Not yet. I find these things take a few weeks sometimes though.

Ohhh that sounds interesting! How does that work?!

I'm sure I bookmarked it but can't for the life of me find it. Can anyone else find it again? I must have found it by following a link from this foum and then wandering on.

From memory she did water marbling in the water as normal then used a piece of plastic bag to pick up the polish instead of he nails. Then after the polish had dried I *think* she cut it into the shape of he nail, painted on a basecoat and pressed on the pattern, then added topcoat. I'm afraid the bit after getting the polish onto the bag is all a bit vague in my memory. Sorry :(
