  • This thread is costing me money! I've bought a LD crystal nail file, Seche Vite topcoat and OPI Nail Envy in the last few days.
I don't/haven't painted my nails on a regular basis, but I've seen so many lovely designs and colours that I've got the bug now.

Only waiting for one nail to re-grow as it split across the nail bed then I'm going to go crazy :rotfl: Luckily my nails grow very quickly, I'm guessing it's a week or so before it's the right length. :)

If you can't get that I have used Rimmell nail tip whitener and just replaced the brush with a thicker one out another polish

I feel like I belong in this thread having bought at least 6 in the last week. Can someone recommend a good nail polish remover though please, I've got a basic tesco 99p job at the moment and it's pants!

    Evening ladies.

Had a bit of a shed building nail related incident over the weekend so babying my nails a bit today as they have gone a little flakey.

Had a pretty nice ebay haul today as well so got a few pretties to play with over the next comple of days

    20120514_110234.jpg

OPIs - Last Friday Night, Strawberry Margarita, That's Berry Daring, Pompeii Purple and Ski Teal we Drop.
Jessica Custom Colours - Nutmeg, Sophisticated Lady, and two unnamed minis. Also Bend don't Break treatment base cost, Top Priority top coat and a cuticle treatment

I don't think there is a BodyCare anywhere near me either so i'm going to have to miss out on all the Tecnic fever. Lol.
A a final point i have finally started my own blog; been meening to for ages and ages and finally plucked up the courage to do it (http://pinkandtwinkly.blogspot.co.uk/)

The best nail polish remover I have used so far is the Boots Essential remover.

I use the Green OPI as i like acetone in my polish.

I'm also impatient so use pure acetone to remove glitters.

High street i have heard good things about the range of Sally Hansen removers.

Finally i have just purchase Bourjois 1 seconde magic nail polish remover - the pot one which has been all over blogs in the country.
I'm not holding out much hope in the one second claim though

I have a Sally Hansen remover at the minute but find it a bit drying. According to my five year old I'm buying pink remover next time... One thing I will recommend though are lint free nail polish remover wipes. They are far far superior to cotton wool. I get mine cheap as chips from Hong Kong/China on ebay.

    Yep. me too.

Far superior to use and absorb/waste less remover.

Fail for me tonight. By the time I'd got my nails painted black I'd run out of time/energy/motivation to scotch tape them so I just added a coat of CG Fairy Dust (lazy!).

And blurry so it shows the colours...

I use Boots essentials, but did have some from Sally's in their Salon Services range. It was good, but couldn't justify the price over £1 a bottle in boots #TightWad
